Doesn't the disdain almost drip off your monitor when you read some of those quotes though? SHHHHEEEEESH!

I can only imagine the bedlam when the SR trailer hits and the marketing campaign kicks in.....:D

Tell me about it. One poster was like " man, how many covers will Wizard have of Superman", I guess he or she missed all the covers of Wolverine:rolleyes:

Pretty soon it will be Time and Newsweek. The marketing continues.

I don't do that any more. Just order Online, print your Ticket(s) & go & sit down with no waiting in line to buy Tickets

Well, my point was that I'll be glad when the movie is actually playing.

Kate Bosworth is #69 in the May issue of FHM Magazine's 100 Sexiest Women. She is joined two other Lois Lane's, Erica Durance (The Cover Girl, #38) and Teri Hatcher (#10).

Erica also was asked about SR & Kate Bosworth...

Kate Bosworth is playing Lois Lane in this summer’s Superman Returns. Do you want to talk some smack?

I’m not going to talk smack. I think I’m fine, and Kate Bosworth doesn’t need my advice on how to play Lois either. She’s been a movie star longer than I’ve been playing Lois on TV. I know people want me to have some secret desire for a cat fight, but I think it’s cool.

What’s your take on the movie?

It has a couple of hundred million dollars invested in it—the TV show doesn’t have nearly that budget—so it’s going to look very different. Plus, we have a completely different story line, not to mention that our show features Superman at a different time in his life. I’ll definitely see the movie when it comes out. Even before Smallville, I loved the comic book movies like Spider-Man, and X-Men, so I’ll go and enjoy Superman Returns like every other fan.

I dont know if it was mentioned, but the April 7th Entertainment Weekly looks at upcoming movies and criticizes that despite the terrible year had by the movies in 2005, they still seem to be generating the same old thing, using Pirates2, Spidey 3, X men 3, and even superman returns. It mentions that this is the fifth time superman has been on the big screen since 1978 (jeez, talk about glass-half-empty) How about this is the first time he's been on the big screen since 1987?

like ok so being on its 4 times in 27 years is a lot?

Just think, there has been 8 Halloween movies during that time.

And 3 Matrix movies, and 5 Star Wars movies, and too many Rocky movies...

7 Police Academy movies. 10 Star Trek movies. 5 Beethoven movies.

Yes sadly. I stumbled on this shocking fact last year on imdb.I've only seen the first one. The last 3 were apparently direct-to-video.

Beethoven (1992): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103786/
Beethoven's 2nd (1993): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106375/
Beethoven's 3rd (2000): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0206588/
Beethoven's 4th (2001): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0294345/
Beethoven's 5th (2003): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0342108/

Beethoven composed 9 symphonies so i guess we can expect 4 more sequels.Yay!:D :p

Agreed, its been a long time, they should've noted that. Oh well. I don't really see any disadvantage in there being that many Superman films. I hope there will eventually be 20, good or bad.

Wow, thanks for posting that article idaho! Gilbert Adler sounds like a very cool guy. My favorite part was:

"Unlike some executives, Adler loves the enthusiasm of the hardcore fans. "I thrive on passion! I'm very passionate about what I do, and Bryan is, too, that's why we're geting along so well," he says. "Its all about making the film better. These fans are passionate about Superman, and I don't blame them. I love Superman, too. I'm one of those fanboys, so I want to hear what they have to say."
