Superman Returns is going to hit theatres all over the world. Even third world nations where Hollywood movies almost never premiere, will run Superman Returns. One of those nations is Bangladesh.

I'm quite pleased to announce that as of today, due to the intervention of *you know who* ;) SR is coming to my homeland. I had to pull a lot of strings at the Motion Picture Association of my country, and at WB Asia... and finally the movie is on it's way.

I'm ecstatic, really. Even though the movie is coming here this August, I'm still happy because... well... something is better than nothing.

I'm going to proudly take credit for bringing one of my favorite superheroes to the theatres of my country. Finally, my position in the press has paid off.

Hope you guys in the US enjoy the movie on the 28th. For me, it's the press screening in July. I'm not coming to these boards from next week. Don't want to get spoiled. :)

Congrats, everyone should be able to enjoy Superman!

chest pounding: Deserved. Congrats on getting something done, man, it's always cool to read about people putting in the work and getting rewarded for it. In this case, you've rewarded your whole COUNTRY. with SUPERMAN, no less.

Quality stuff.

Yeah, but what country is it? If it's like the size of Pennsylvania, mad props. Now if we're talking a Texas-sized country, MAD PROPS.

India... well... no.

I'm a Bangladeshi. :)

Yeah. I had to e-mail my questions in. Got the reply from Routh, Bosworth, and Spacey. I'll post the article here, when it's published. It'll probably be in fine print by next week. Since the movie isnt coming to Bangladesh any earlier than July, I'm not in that much of a hurry to publish my story.

July 27th, please come sooner :(

I will be able to buy tickets only on July 13th :down

wow, actual replies from the big 3? seriously? :D

anyway, PROPS to you dude for moving mountains there in your country. you should get some kind of special premiere invite or something ;)

It was a hectic process too. I had to go through WB Asia every step of the way. The press junket wasnt allocated for SR in Asian countries like Bangladesh. Had to work really hard to swipe some comments from the stars. In the end, it was worth it.

Going on the first press screening on July 16th.

And thanks for the kind words. :)

Very nice Zeb, it's good to hear an uplifting story.

Wow. Congrats, man. You've really accomplished something and should be proud.

Hey, congrats to that feat! I just can't freakin' belive, that we in germany have to wait till august, too!!!!
oh, and i'm pissed that the german voice of superman is the same that dubbed Frodo Baggins... :(

Shouldn't you be pissed that it's german in the first place and not original voice?

Yeah, but we got some pretty good voice actors here and every movie get's dubbed. I don't like it, but the mainstream is just too lazy =)
But the voice of Frodo is just so ...young..and hobbit-like.
They probaply went for that voice, because that's Tom Welling's voice in Smallville.

Wow. Congratulations MEHZEB! That is quite a feat. You're a real live superhero! Living in a third world country myself I can honestly say we need more people like you.
