Actually Im kinda glad we havent received the trailer yet...yeah the suspense is killing me but that's half the fun of this ride, it has been for oh, say about ten years now. I would prefer one well made finished trailer than three half assed rushed ones that show you the whole darn movie prior to opening (ofcourse this could still happen but I bet it wont).

I can't ever remember a movie this big that has had only 1 trailer with only 2 months until release.

What if this is a bad sign. It could be so bad and looks so bad they don't want to show. In the fear that is might kill the hype.

yeah, right, sure, thats pretty likely.

Y'know, the lack of overdone hype may be a strong sign that WB and Singer mat feel that what you will see in the trailer/TV spots will put more butts in seats than hearing Superman Returns everywhere for 3 months...

Either way we are all entitled to your own opinion. There are those who believe that WB's marketing strategy is awful and they are playing the wrong way and there are those who believe WB is taking the correct approach. The point is we all function together...awwwwww.

Everyone who knows me....knows that I am a giant movie fan. I love and live for movies. I collect memoralbilia related to them....I read all about them....I discuss them with everyone...I collect and watch as many as I can.

But in my almost 50 years of movie watching.....I have never sat around saying that the anticipation of any movies' "trailer" had me bothered in any way whatsoever. If I see a good trailer for some movie I am anticipating....I am happy......but rest assured that I haven't wasted any time waiting for it to show up.

That's just my feelings on it.

I have the luxury of being able to tool around these boards from my office all day long if I choose to. This weekend my girlfriend happens to be horribly sick, so we didn't go out much. I figured this would be a great time to catch up on my writing and check out the new trailer or new info in relation to the trailer. That didn't happen, but I am not jumping off a bridge about it.

I love every minute of it and am trying to appreciate it, we are not going to feel this way again. It's Superman returning to the big screen for the first time since 1987. That is huge and I am embracing it.

1. When we will finnaly get character-posters???

3. If full trailer is realesed on May 12th, how much tv-spots will be realesed? What you think?

2. And when we will also get official poster???

WHy WB will realese it a one week before SV 100th episode will come? And also before Posseidon will be realesed?

The difference is one week.

Release Date: April 28, 2006

I definately see a trailer, if it does come out in april, with this film.

Thats the last "big" film of April. Also last wide release of this month.

Yeah, I don't think you'll see a Superman trailer for a film like United 93. Very wrong kind of demographics and it doesn't make for a good audience impression.

The character poster question is very valid. We should've been seeing character silhouettes EVERYWHERE, with a "Returns" and the 'S' shield logo on it. In fact. I'm gonna design some.

I guessed United 93 because im taking Singer's word for it for a april release and thats the last hope for this month. I actualy see it fitting with that film. Its something Superman stands for, justice and unity in some way. From what i gather, the film (U93) has that, specialy the whole passenger getting together part. But thats my guess

I mean they will realese it during new SV episode, because it is Superman. And it also will help movie to have SV fans going to see it.

And I think they will attache it to Poseidon, because it is their movie.

Read my post again, i mentioned what i think might be similar. Its all about the american people standing together , just as superman does for them in his film. Thats what i find similar...

Yeah, people that see United 93 will not exactly be the happy fantasy people. This will be the somber, realist crowd, the exact opposite of who you want to sell a film like Superman Returns to.
