World Superman: The Ultimate Collector's Edition

That my friend is the exact reason why I rarely buy things online. Its simply just too much of a hassle. I'd much rather fork over the extra 5-10 bucks at the store then deal with that kind of bull. :csad:

Even though I did get my Collectors set off of Amazon. :o

So has anyone got their replacement disk yet?

Also has anyone sent for the free posters?

The sets available as of NOW are the corrected ones?

WHV is re-releasing this thing on May 29.

I imagine we'll start seeing ads for other online retailers and stores in the coming weeks.

I have most of this stuff already besides having the original dvd releases, and I also own all the flesher toons on dvd, and look up at the sky.

But yes I was intrested in getting this until I heard that SR was part of the box set.

Now im not interested in buying it...

To anyone thinking of ordering this from the WB DVD site, you can get 20% off retail by entering the code WBWEL at checkout ($63.96). They're also offering free shipping (since it's over $60).

Can you orderit w/o SR and w/o any SR graphics and the SInger video blogs?

Yes, I know I already got the Donner Cut of SII and the Reeve Collection separately. I'm just playing around.

Yeah well consider yourself lucky that Region 1 had the Singer Blogs the rest of the world didn't have them. I wanted them too but no they had to screw the rest of us. :(

i dunno... it all depends on if I have the money or not

I will point out the "Ultimate Collection" has a disc that is about the Christopher Reeve films as well as about Chris that you can't get elsewhere. Just in case you're interested. Wikipedia might have details about what's on the discs in your Region (1 - North America) as well as the other collection.

I got the 2disc edition of Superman 2 the other day and it's sad that WB didn't bother to put as much effort into it as the Batman SE's.

I got my hands on the May re-release...(no wrong Superman III BS to go through).

It's a VERY impressive collection...In a lot of ways more so than the Batman Anthology. That's really just out of the fact that there's just a load MORE to enjoy. You could spend the entire day working your way watching everything the collection has to offer, and you'd still probably have to continue tomorrow because you can't get through it all in one day.

My only gripe is that, like "Batman Begins" ...

No "Superman Returns" commentary...grrr...I'm a commentary junkie.

here's a Superman DVD cover I made, with C. Lee's suggestion. I may try the rest of the series, if you all think this one's worthwhile.
