Oh, oh, and while we're at it, if I had my way, we'd get a drinking fountain here that dispenses whole milk. Not a real one, but a virtual one. It's not like I'm crazy or anything.

VS threads are fun. You are supposed to fight about characters and argue about things you can't change. That's the whole point of a comic board-- speculate on a particular phrase a writer says at a convention, yell about it, say you won't read the book anymore (liars all of us), read the book, and start the cycle again. That's the only thing Hype is here for.

I personally prefer Goku vs Superman threads but Superman vs Hulk is fine too. I say Superman, though I'm a Marvel boy I say Superman would win. And what happen to that Thor vs Superman thread that was going for a while? I love hearing about all the crazy feats these characters have done. I don't think any writer has taken a college level science class.

 

lots of guys manipulate forms of energy and have attacked Supes with red sunlight but Supes STILL beat them. Captain Atom anybody?

I too love Vs threads as long as people keep it civil and not go overboard and insult each other.

 

Vs. threads and civility are mutually exclusive concepts.

I enjoy vs threads, I do...

When the people in them are familiar with both characters... so often people take their latest feat-laden comic book reading and compare it with the cartoon version of something and refuse to be educated on the opposite character. That's tiring. And once one guy gets, he inevitably shuts up and two more take his place.

It's insanity. Maybe a certain post count should be required to take part in VS threads or something.
