SUPERNATURAL Season 8! - Part 1

Indeed not.

That was a great episode. Season 5 level stuff. I'm excited for the finale.

They missed their shot at bringing back Michael and Lucifer in season 7 if you ask me. Freeing them to kill the supposedly almighty Leviathans would have been cool in my opinion.

I'm glad somebody else remembers Michael. They both need to be freed and returned to the show.

Carver hinted at a brand new world for next season and I bet it's because of the consequences of shutting the gates of hell. I think they are gonna get close with Micheal and Lucifer in.

They won't be back. Adam on the other hand, is still up in the air and a possibility.

I don't see Lucifer's return being much of a possibility, with Mark Pellegrino's pilot being picked up.

How could Mark be used? The guy he played was utterly destroyed when Lucifer finally got done with him.

Castiel got blown up like a ****ing water balloon on two occasions and he's no worse for the wear...

Twin brother... Or a doppelganger. :p

Replace him, he was just a vessel. If Hell is potentially going to be sealed off, its natural ruler should be involved.

And God brought him back, somehow I doubt he would be willing to bring back Lucifer's willing back-up vessel.

He's locked in his little cage in the deepest depths of the ninth circle of Hell. He's not getting out. And he never really was the ruler, demons like Azazel and Lilith and to an extent Alastair ran things, and kept demons in line.

So once again, his story has run its course, he's locked up in the cage, he isn't getting out.

Actually, you're wrong, he gave me a call this morning. He said he's gonna be back, but idk when, now he's just taking a bath in a tub full of laava.

But really, I'm glad the show is back on track and that we got a better season than both 6 and 7. And I really hope Abaddon & Metatron will stick around for next season!

Clarification: the writers brought back Cas. And they can bring back Lucifer with another equally ridiculous Deus Ex Machina as absent God bringing back Cas. For the record Cas wasn't supposed to come back at the end of the season 5 finale, but when they decided to do season 6 they decided to shoot his resurrection. They could have left Cas dead after season 5, but they realized he might have more story so they had him come back with the help of "God". Who is to say they can't do the same with Lucifer? There could be a spell, loophole, or any number of things to spring him from the Pit.

Yeah, I'm aware Cas and Bobby would have stayed dead if five had been the last season.

There could be, but there won't be. Because again his story has been told/run its course. No reason to bring him back.

This. It's totally possible and I'd like to see it happen. Also, let's dig up the AntiChrist and see what that kid's been up to in Australia.

He's been powerless ever since Lucifer was taken back into the cage, so he's kinda pointless if Lucifer doesn't return.

This. His powers were directly tied to the biblical apocalypse. Much like the ****e of Babylon, he only surfaced because it was 'time.' And since the apocalypse has come and gone... He's presumably just a normal kid again.

Yeah, he is useless now , man leave that alone. Don't even wanna see him again! Jeez! Also why can't ppl understand he is powerless without Lucy walking the Earth?

Btw, HOLY FRIGGIN' GARTH guys! You need to go back to Season 2, episode 3, watch Bloodlust and tell me if you recognize who the bartender is when Sam & Dean walk into that bar where Gordon is!:eek: ;) Ah fak it I tell you: It's TY OLSON !!! Who played Benny! there he plays a Bartender called Eli! So I was shocked since it's a vamp episode I thought he might've been credited as Benny , but looks like for Season 8 they completely missed it that he was before in the show as a different character or what? :D

I didn't think it'd be so easy to just stop being the AntiChrist. Besides, all the things he's said to do in the Bible are as an adult so I wouldn't be surprised if he still held the title.

You guys around here sure get upset when stuff you think are "done" get brought up. Let's take it down like 50 notches, goodness.

Everyone told you that he is pointless if Lucifer's not around since he is powerless and since he is just a regular kid, why would you be interested in him? There are so many people the Winchesters came across and we hardly saw most of them.

Back to what I said, it seems Eli is a vamp and he kidnaps Sam! Now the only question is if the writers knew about him when they made up Benny, if not talk about weird coincidences lol since they chose the same actor to play a vamp in the same show!

This isn't the first time the writers re-used actors. They're aware.

It is pretty easy to just stop being the Anti Christ when he has zero abilities without Lucifer walking the Earth, lol.

Yeah, but even Castiel says the Bible gets more wrong than right e.g. the Antichrist.

I don't think that is necessarily true, he is half demon so I think he still has some of the basic powers like telekinesis and teleportation.

How could he have the basic demon abilities when he's only half demon, though?

Plus, a Cambion would be very different if he can only use his powers when Lucifer's walking on Earth which is not the same for any other demon.
