SUPERNATURAL Season 8! - Part 1

Supernatural is moving to Tuesdays next season following The Originals.

Forgot about Metatron mentioning it was a spell since they were three things and felt like trials....I wonder if there are trials in that angel tablet then?

Tuesdays? Hmm I wish they would just leave it on Wednesdays following Arrow.

Would it not make better sense to pair The Originals with The Vampire Diaries ? (sighs) ****ing incompetent idiots at The CW

Does it being on Tuesdays really make a difference?

I totally agree with these!! Which is why I want the show to be ended while it's still good, with a great finale! It went a bit downhill with season 6 & 7, but manage to come back with this 8 season when Carver took over! Personally I'm glad they did and I hope it can end up on a high, hopefully with Season 10.

Oh and btw, speaking of Crowley beeing cured, wait a sec guys, he is not cured! Didn't Sam stopped before finishing the trial or did I miss something? I would LOVE if he becomes human and they keep him on the show though!

Haha, I try. I don't Carver is going to let us down, if this season has been any indication. Nowhere to go but up.

We won't know til it comes back on. My concern is that Wednesday nights following Arrow seems to be working for them so why switch nights and have it follow an untested new show?

I suppose. I don't think it'll be much of an issue so long as they make it clear that it's changed. I'll keep watching.

Btw I read that there are supposed to be 7 Archangels,

Ariel
Azrael

Metatron
Uriel
Raphael
Gabriel
Michael

So we can count Uriel & Metatron out in this show, Raph & Gabe are dead, Michael is in the cage and so I wonder if the show will use Ariel and/or Azrael? Would be great!

Also I wonder if there are more Knights of Hell!

Uriel was taken down pretty easily, by cas when he was just a grunt, no less. I don't think he's an archangel in this show.

The Originals is no more untested than Arrow was at the beginning of the season. In fact, it's less untested, due to the audience already getting a taste. Granted, pairing The Originals with TVD makes more sense to me, but I guess they wanted to pair two shows with male leads (this and The Originals) and two shows with female leads (TVD and Reign). And as for Arrow and The Tomorrow People, that's the Superhero/Amell cousins block.

That's not like Smallville which, when it got worse during season five, I tried to give it a try but it went downhill from season six onwards for a couple more seasons until it finally died. And him being a proto-Superman during the last seasons was just awful, imo.

Well, many SV fans say the show got better from S8-10, so maybe it will be similar with SN. I may return for the final season, till then......

Besides a few tiny complaints, I rather enjoyed season six myself. It felt like a great continuation from season five while dwelling into new territory.

One could say Crowley is semi-cured but never exactly got there to be human again. It would be interesting to see how Crowley acts now having gone through eight hours of blood transfusion.

The CW would never think that though. The network seems to still be run by monkeys.

Seriously, on Mondays they are having Hart of Dixie being paired with Beauty and the Beast...doesn't make any sense, lol.

They probably have the idea of pairing Arrow with some superhero-like show, and that's why The Tomorrow People will be airing on Weds. with Arrow next season.

Edit: Nevermind that bit.

But, it's been said that Michael, Lucifer, Raphael and Gabriel are the main four archangels. Metatron is a different story as even mentioned by himself as he was picked out to be a "special" kind of archangel as the Scribe of God as he continued to even say he was not like the other archangels.

Uriel was taken down pretty easily, by cas when he was just a grunt, no less. I don't think he's an archangel in this show.

Uriel wasn't taken down that easy by a longshot. He almost took Castiel out and Anna ended up saving Castiel's ass.

Seasons six and seven of SV were way worse than seasons six and seven of SPN, lol.

Smallville even had the same showrunners from the beginning of the series during seasons six and seven and they were still crap! Haha.

Azrael, not to be confused with Azazel which was YED's real name, isn't seen as an archangel or mentioned at all in all the lores. The fact they haven't mentioned him yet despite being the Archangel of Death. I don't think he'll be showing up anytime soon. If he does, it can go either way. Fodder or the bad ass Archangel of Death. They might have Death be Azrael in a similar story-line to how Gabriel became the trickster. Which could lead to Death playing a big part next season as they try to figure out how to counter Metatron's latest move. More Death works for me. :word:

As for Ariel. From what I read about her. They might portray her as an environmentalist, hippie type who doesn't want to be bothered. lol

Hahahaha, **** I am stupid. Yah, his name was Azrael.

Goddamnit I had a blonde moment.

Season eight was phenomenal if you ask me besides the Amelia bit(mostly because it never felt like we had true conclusion to her storyline...Amelia herself and Sam finding love was okay, imo).

After seasons five, four, two and one, I'd place season eight there. Then it would be followed with seasons six, three and seven.

Season three is so low solely because of the writer's strike as the season never clicked with me because of the shorten season and ideas had to be scrapped. As well as one of my least enjoyed episodes of the entire series being in S3("Red Sky At Morning") next to "The Slice Girls".

As soon as I saw the ending scene, "Skyfall" played on my head. Can't wait for the next season! :woot:

Cool ending(scene), but I don't get it. What the "hell" is going on...
I suppose it will be explained next season. sigh.
I'm fine with a cliff hanger but in the old days they would at least explain the causes more clearly.

Next season will start as all season post 5 start. With business as usual and from scratch. Bet on it.

The worst part about this ep, was Dean running around asking questions and making faces, they spoiled me rotten with season 4 and 5.

It's a spell. Metatron said so. Hence all the weird ingredients/"trials".

There was nothing "unexplained" in this episode...it was pretty easy to understand if you paid attention to the episode and season in general.

i thought it was interesting how the machines came on in the bunker and started tracking all the falling angels.

So essentially the demon trials were moot/cancelled.
And the Angel "Trails" were just a "spell" Metatron had Castiel partially do and he himself finished?

And Crowley is now Human...cause he sounded pretty genuine at the end there..
Hell's still open, but angels have been cast out.

Is that it?
Assuming it is, that. I don't see it as being as "clear" as the likes of "Lucifer Rising"
