Superman Returns Supes should've come bk with long hair

Superman Returns was an awsome movie, it had everything for the superman fans, Singer made the ultimate superman movie, he paid subtle homeages to Donner's original and Casting Routh was a mastersroke he pulled it off, and it was like picking up where II left off, he was spookily so alike to the late and in my opinion THE BEST SUPERMAN Chris Reeve, especially wen he smiled.

I loved it from start to finish, I hope the Sequel goes ahead because it can only get even better, I would like some more action scenes in MOS though.

I loved SR as i hav mentioned but i would've liked to have seen Supes come bk with long hair like in the comicbook when he returned from the dead, I loved the look and it made Clark a real 90s man!!

Any thoughts?

I just say no to mullets. Also Brandon looks better with shorter hair. Much better.

this was mentioned in another thread but i thought they should have filmed all the clark scenes with longer hair and made brandom get a haircut for supes.

I agree with your thoughts on SR.

As for the long hair thing, i think immediatly after he returned to Earth, i.e during the scene's on the farm, he should have had long hair and a beard, like in Superman: Exile.

But then once he returned to Metropolis he could have cut it.

I wouldn't mind if he had some type of long hair & a beard but definitely not a mullet. Could've worked out pretty good & Martha could've even made a comment about it.

So he can't be in a form of suspended animation that means he might never grow any hair (longer) or it might take one million years? Since it was only 6 then no hair growth (or nanometers hair growth i.e. it's unnoticeable). Just a thought.

the problem with that is that the movie was released in 2006.

As for Brrandon Routh's hair, it was fine in SR, it just needed a bit better styling, It should have looked more wind blown as Supes and then more combed as Clark,

as i mentioned before there was a long thread about his hair and the general concensus was his clark hair should have remained as it was but they should have done all his clark scenes first, then cut his hair for his superman scenes to make him look less youthful and more corporate serious.
