Has anyone ever noticed how Lex Luthor has almost always been the main villain in any Superman film. Its pathetic! I can't take it! I'm not a huge Superman fan, but I really enjoyed the films with Christopher Reeves. To me he really was Superman as well as Hugh Jackman is Wolverine. But I have just read an article about how there is another Superman movie in production. So I thought oh cool and read on, only to discover that Lex Luthor once more will be reprising his role as the dominate Mr. Clean of the DCU.
I think its DEFINATLEY about time we see some new enemies brought into play here. Its ridiculous having him as the villain everytime. Imagine Green Goblin being the only one to ever fight Spidey on the Big Screen. Its even getting annoying with the X-men trilogy.
Now I don`t know many of the villains Superman has, but from playing Superman Returns the game (which wasn`t too bad I guess) why couldn`t they have Metallo in there? Or Brainiac? OR BIZARRO??! Just something to think about.
