Taika Waititi is Korg in Thor Ragnarok!

I for one am so indifferent to Korg. Hell, if it wasn't for this board, I'd keep forgetting he is in the movie.

Out of all marketed characters he far and away is the one I am least interested in. Lolol In a nut shell, I dont give a single **** about him. Can someone tell me what is so appealing about him, what am I missing? That clip made him seem like an annoying screen attention ****e and I cringed. He was like a cartoon character to me.

You would have had to have read the Planet Hulk and World War Hulk story from the comic books to really know who Korg is. He first appeared in Journey into Mystery #112, the first appearance of Thor in Marvel Comics. Greg Pak did an exceptional job fleshing his character out and making him three dimensional. Korg became a fan favorite due to his loyalty to his friends even when he saw opposite perspectives on a matter.

If you haven't, I suggest picking up three graphic novels that tell a compelling, interesting and complete tale about friendships and loyalty. The Incredible Hulk Peace In Our Time written by Daniel Way, leads into Planet Hulk, which ultimately lead to World War Hulk both written by Greg Pak. The story is solid.

I doubt it. Even if we set aside the fact that IW already has an extreme amount of characters as it is, based on the info we've gotten this far it sounds like Thor will befriend them more than Hulk has. Korg doesn't talk about Hulk as his friend but just as the champion that kills everyone that faces him.
