Tales of the Black Freighter trailer online!

ach can't view outside of the US... Can someone upload a HD version?

Someone needs to upload it to Youtube.

Nice. Can't wait for the director's cut. Having that in there will make it more complete.

Agreed.

I like the style they went with. I remember some people were afraid that it was going to be too anime like. This looks pretty good.

this crap should be in the film's dvd copy, i can't believe they are trying to get a few bucks by marketing it separately.

OMG guys:whatever: this cannot ever dream to live up to the comic book version! So they should like stop right now

:hehe:

Awesome. I'm glad they are making it a seprate DVD. it was just confusing in the book.

Just don't be a chump by buying it early. It will be part of the Director's Cut that Snyder talked about.

It's all a matter of how long you can wait for it.

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not. If your serious, that's a ridiculous statement. Without this going alongside the book/film it's pointless. There's no need for it on it's own except to watch to see how accurate it is. I prefer having it go along side the movie/book since that was the way it was meant to be seen/read.

Of course i'm being sarcastic. Watchmen would never be complete without this in the story.

Not sure if I want to spend the money on this one. The story by itself didn't do all that much for me in the GN, except for the way it paralleled the events in the story. I do very much want to see Under the Hood however

I just finished re-reading Watchmen again. Black Freighter in itself is a really teriffic story. Extremely twisted and somewhat depressing though. The way it's incorporated in the book is excellent aswell. But replicating that in the film will be tricky. it might seem more well....lame than in the GN.

It sure as **** doesn't. I was talking about the transitions from the BF comic to the main story. It might be a bit lame if it's used in the film.
