Anyone else put off by the twirling "fastball special"? I know it sounds like a fanboy nitpick but that was more of a "shotput special". Wolvie flying through the air looked very wirey as well. Maybe I was expecting too much. Still, fun stuff.

I guess I'm the only one who didn't like the twirling...

What am I making up? I didn't like clip and said what what I felt was wrongt with it (it was cliche). I'm not saying the movie is going to be horrible, but I didn't enjoy the way the scene was presented. Maybe the scene fits in perfectly within the context of the movie. However we didn't see that, just the clip...

X1 and X2 had similar play-off scenes like that as well...Selective memory perhaps?

Yes, those were most likely written as commands. But they were in no way delivered as them. I'm watching the clip over and over again, and she just keeps sounding worse.

I do not hate Halle Berry, at all. That’s just a dim statement about you, because that’s your only defense against her suckyness. I liked her very much in Dorothy Dandridge. Try again.

And when have I ever gotten offensive about Famke? Oh wait, I have a Famke avvy, that must mean I worship her!! Famke has her flaws, and I know them. But guess what? No one ever comments on her... well, except for Halle fans who take cheap shots because they lack an argument.

1) well, i'm not a huge storm/halle fan, but i don't think storm was whiney- i think she's being a leader to someone like logan, who doesn't want to be led.

2) i just saw it once, so i'm not sure, but i wish they could make colossus a little less shiny. lol. ok ok, that's nitpicking

3) not a big fan of the music, but it's not that big of a deal to me

4) the fastball was pretty cool, wasn't how i imagined it, but

6) other than that, i think this is gonna be an AWESOME movie!!! and it's supposed to be the most emotional, so it shouldn't be light-hearted like F4. so i'm ok.

It was just cliche, ya know? I'm bored until something (unimportant) happens to me and pretend it's a big deal. It seemed odd... I've also supported Ratner. I've thought (and still do) that he'd do a good job. I've also supported Penn and Kinberg (as they're really great at Xverse). It just didn't appeal to me.

There were things I did like (storm spinning out). I thought Halle was good. Treating Logan like a child who no one can reason with (as oppose to Halle "whining" which I don't think is the case. Logan wasn't taking it serious).

But OK, I didn't like it. I'm a "troll." I've said countless times already I didn't enjoy the clip, but I'm not judging the entire movie on 15 seconds. The clip didn't appeal to me... It wasn't as I expected and maybe that's why I'm disappointed.

I agree that the scene seemed a bit campy, but I think it's supposed to be. I'm guessing this will be a very early scene, and it will serve much like the X2 scene where Jean and Storm find Nightcrawler in the church or the Pyro/Iceman scene in Storm's class in X1.
