This scares me in Brett's ability to direct actors, hopefully this will be dubbed or something, and the music is horrible, I really hope that is temp music.

This clip was ridiculously campy and not dark at all!

Well, Jackman's accent went in and out in a few scenes in X1 and X2...Only this clip is isolated so people can criticize it more than anything else...I also doubt that the score is completely finished (I think we would've heard a little sample of it by now)...

How long was the clip 30-45 seconds? The movie can't be dark and dramatic the whole time. It needs lighter moments as well...X2 had quite a few of them..

Of the secondary characters who got the main focus? The lead up to something more? Jean. Jean bias. Right there.

Toad, Rogue, Senator Kelly, William Striker, Cyclops. Just about everyone but Berry.

Actually, most would say, they didn't even expect Dark Phoenix at all, because of all the space mumbo jumbo that it would have typically entailed.

The only one on that list I'll give you JPson, is Cyclops. Then he went and ****ed that up with ludicriously dumbass moments.

Anyways, saw the clip on Leno 3 hours ago and just now getting online. The Colossus effect if very iffy to me. Hope it's just unfinised and won't look like that in the film.

This has probably been brought up but the clip looked like it was editted for time. This certainly isn't the only time this has happened with X-men actors appearing on talk shows and showing shorter/editted clips.

I am not complaining about the humour in the clip at all just to clarify merely commenting, but overall, the clip did do its job to market itself to the mass audience which is a good month in advance, good idea!

I just hope the music is temporary because I LOATHE it right now and I think Storm is fine in the clip.

Single Handedly destroyed them? I wouldn't go that far. In fact, if it weren't for him, Brett Ratner wouldn't have had a movie universe to start this movie with, and it may have turned into complete crap. What Singer did, was set up a good introduction story, and provide the setting up of a major storyline.

That's called setting up a trilogy.
