Talk Shows Return!

Jon Stewart's interview was boring, but Colbert was funny from beginning to end. Although I thought there was going to be some rule about Colbert not being allowed to be in character.

I like Stewart interview, especially when he was b*tching about the WGA not allowing his writers to make a deal like Letterman's writers were able to. Thought it was both informative and funny.

Gots me a beard avatar like Catman.

Not surprising to see Letterman shave off his strike beard. I don't know if Conan should shave it though, even when the strike ends.

Although, once the writers return, he's unable to have a fake handlebar Stache like he did playing 1860's baseball.

I say keep it until the strike ends. Even if it grows the length of Colbert's fake beard, I say keep it.

Conan needs to keep the beard, even after the strike ends. He's gotten even funnier with the beard.

Especially during German Disco Light Show!

Once the strike ends, I would love to see a bearded Conan do "In the Year 2000."

Kimmel's interviewing the guys banned from the buffet

German disco light shows? Too sexy for my shirt? CHOPPA FOUR?!?!?!??!

The German Disco thing just sort of isn't working. It would be great for the studio audience, but it just doesn't work as well on TV. But Conan's traffic thing is funny

Not new in the least, but I figured you'd all enjoy this, too:

Best of Conan:

Okay, those dogs on Conan tonight had to be robots or something.

Wow.

Anyone watch Jon Stewart interviewing one of Rudi Guillani's advisor's last night, Jon pretty much ripped him a new @$$hole, almost felt sorry for the guy.

Damn you and your ability to catch the Daily Show and Colbert Report.

I couldn't believe after everything that was shown that Rudy would mention how he appeared with the 9/11 funerals. :wow: :cmad:

Damn you and your ability to catch the Daily Show and Colbert Report.

You can go onto iTunes and pay $1.99 for a "shipping and handling" charge and watch or go on their websites and see the clips.

Don't feel sorry for him. David Frum is a f#@kin *****ebag. Neocons like him are the reason the U.S. is in Iraq; strange he didn't mention his support for the WMD war (Frum takes credit for inventing the "Axis of Evil" language).

He's Canadian, and all he does is rag on about how bad everything is in Canada and how much better the U.S. is, when in fact we're one of the best countries in the world to live in. We should have revoked his citizenship a long time ago.

And be part of the problem? :oldrazz:

I missed Conan tonight. What happened?

I only watched the first 20 minutes, he did a segment with his associate producer who has been with the show essentially since the start. I don't know why he works for the show, he seemed like he had no sense of humour or that he would fit in at all with the staff. Conan seemed to like him. Anyway he asked him some questions and found out he has protein shake and vegetable shakes for breakfast, he's tanned, fit all about proper metabolism, wine enthusiast, he's very good with a bullwhip etc. Conan found a box of Honey Nut Cheerios, asking him how a serious health guy like him could eat out of a box with a cartoon bee he replied its low in fat, whole grains, a bag full of oranges and then a small container full of Smores Pop Tarts. Conan then mocks him, later Conan nibbles away at a Pop Tart and drinks wine. Then he loses it, thinking about how different he is from everyone else, thought it was funny and couldn't stop laughing. He came out to sit by Conan and was incredibly calm and Conan lost it again. I've never seen him laugh like that in all the years I've watched the show. Conan usually stops laughing but he just couldn't stop. I didn't find it that funny, but oh well. But I kept on thinking this guy should be working for Men's Health or some Metrosexual tv show, not Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Colbert seemed more like Jon Stewart last night with the New Hampshire coverage, using his style and not so much in character. But he was back in it for his Huckabee interview. Huckabee/Colbert '08 is still a go. "One heartbeat away..."
