I think it was about the shows (Bill and Jay's) returning without writers, same thing happened to Carson Daly where there was a goon squad of writers who started yelling things and had to be removed by security. Bill Maher had 9/11 conspiracy nuts crash his show last fall. Nothing in the media about it, but you could barely hear what they were saying.

Maher was much better than his Conan appearance.

Two days ago he told Papa Bear O'Reilly to **** off.

The Colbert Report has easily been the best show with or without writers. Conan has had the most creative and unique show. Gotta say I was disappointed with what the viewers had submitted, just like Conan.

Conan is much funnier without the writers, the zipline extravaganza and the maze was hilarious. Just killin' time, folks.

The Jon Stewart/Colbert/Geraldo feud was awesome. Instead of having just being guests on their show they'll start a feud.

Colbert ended it when he showed the footage of Huckabee himself saying he owes it all to The Colbert Report. I was expecting Conan to appear when Colbert was talking. Anyway it would be great if the feud continued but Conan is all reruns next week with show from Chicago.

Colbert was almost a writer on Late Night around 1995. This was brought up in an interview a couple years ago. Then he got the gig on The Dana Carvey Show, hooked up with Robert Smigel on Ace & Gary then did three pieces for Good Morning America (1 made the air) and then in 1998 got his job on The Daily Show with Craig Kilborn.
