The Amazing Spider-Man TASM Footage Description Thread!

- Spidey, seemingly handcuffed, sits on the street while surrounded by SWAT officers. He's in his costume but unmasked, and suddenly lurches up with his spider-speed and takes out the cops in a feat of acrobatic aggression.

Shirt has all the cities on it on the back and of course NEW YORK IS NUMBER ONE!

- Speaking of webs, Spider-Man's artificial web-shooters are very cool. They're high-tech, they glow briefly when he fires them, and the webs themselves look much more "realistic," if you will, than Raimi's plastic lines. I can't wait for the prop replicas of these web-spinners.

I'm an organic webshooter lover, but the mechanical ones are sounding really neat. I can't wait to see them.

Super excited for the new trailer! But I'd rather watch it when I'm wide awake, school is going to take FOREVER tomorrow...

Quick question. What had the better footage, The trailer or the sizzle reel?

Sizzle reel revealed more cause it was longer but there were obvious parts that weren't complete snd since they both serve two different purposes I can't say which was "better." The trailer felt complete tho and seeing both that and the reel make July seem too far away

Well, I really meant as far as memorable, must see moments. I didn't mean so much quality/more polished.

God, that was beyond awesome, you guys. SDCC/Expo reels can s**k it! And looks like most of the scenes in the movie are definitely inspired by the Ultimate Spider-Man series (especially the early issues), that were seen in the Untold Story Begins event:

Ah my bad lol. Definitely the reel. Not to say the trailer didn't have it but the reel was able to expand on stuff and get a bit more in depth. A lot of money shots in that

Well, I would think he'd look exactly like that, considering it's PROMOTIONAL ART.
