The Amazing Spider-Man The Spider-Man Reboot Hype Machine

So this is the thread where breaking news, reports, rumors, and just talk and speculation can occur up until the release date.

It's better to keep it in one thread than do it in little sub threads anyway. The casting and character threads are fine, but this can be the thread where all the news comes under one roof so we can have a large discussion about the entire film.

But most of all, this is the place where us Spider-Man fans can show our excitement or upcoming excitement for this reboot.

So I'll start us off with a suggestion:

How would anyone think of this song to be used in a quick trailer or tv spot? It's got a great energetic flow that fits Spider-Man. I'd be cool to see some footage or a made for trailer of Garfield as Peter changing into Spider-Man and doing his routine with this song playing in the background.

Yeah I could see a song like that in the reboot.

It definitely fits Marc Webb's taste in music, but I doubt the band would go for it. They're kinda notorious for not allowing their music to be used in big commercial projects.

I know Garfield is a big Arcade Fire fan though. I doubt that will have any influence though.
