If Dent is indeed 'held down' while the acid creeps towards his face- I doubt thiswill be occuring in a courtroom. If so, I have reservations about this. The courtroom scarring is just too cool a scene to be fcked with.

Not only that, but it's so symbolic. Dent is "defaced" in one of the places that he feels so passionate about while he is in the midst of one of the largest cases of his career.

So from what i'm hearing, Dent is held to the floor by someone, and brown liquid (possibly gasoline) is slowly making its way to his face. IS this correct? Also, is this scene disturbing? Does Dent say something or just screams?

No one knows what it is. It's all speculation about the liquid.

BTW, I just got my wrist slapped by a nice mod for criticizing Jett from BOF on these boards.

Since I am prohibited from making valid criticisms here about websites that are not only simply odious, but directly compete for hits and sponsors with this site, the SHH boards have become far less interesting to me.

I was also reprimanded for my use of nelogisms -- that is, inventing and improvising words to express myself. I will not waste the time or effort to explain how ridiculous this is. Since SHH is inherently and belligerently anti-speech, then I will no longer participate on these boards.

It´s amazing how people make gratuitous anonymous insults to a website that´s been defending on a daily basis for ten years the very same thing the fans have done - a proper, serious treatment of Batman on film - and then want to pose as martyrs of free speech.

I seen all the criticisms on BOF here. That Jett BSes the fans with false information, when in fact he says up front when a rumor is a rumor, and when the information is reliable. He´s been right about a ton of things - the design of the new bat-suit, the bat-cycle and The Joker make-up, to name a few - and yet people conveniently forget those and point out only the stuff that turned out to be wrong, and that was clearly pointed to be a rumor to begin with. The other thing is that he´s a "sold out" who now loves everything WB throws at us, when in fact he´s basically defended Nolan´s take on Batman, as most fans do, and he´s done harsh criticisms at a lot of Batman-related products also owned by WB, such as many eps of The Batman and the whole "Bruce Wayne will die" deal. Last, but not least, that he´s an "arrogant prick" who overvalues his site relevance to help changing the franchise, when in fact WB people DO check the site and value what´s posted there, as has been stated by people involved with making the new Batman movies.

I agree Ultimate fan ( I seem to be agreeing with you a lot lately ) I never understood the "Jett bashing" some people give him over here when he's been pretty up front with all that he reports (or don't report) on BOF.

Yeah, I guess some of that also came from his sarcastic responses to "hate mail", but if you read some of the e-mails, they totally deserve the sarcasm... I know he´s posted articles from fans on his site that he doesn´t necessarily agree with.

Indeed, i think some of the problem comes from the fact that tone is hard to get across in text. i seem to remember one time he joked that he'd caused BB to be made, but the way it was written came across badly. He swiftly edited it tho.

I just hate trying to navigate that site and there some posters there that are complete jackasses (we have those here to). Jett personally, never had much of an issue, oh I'll make fun of BoF in the name of comedy but nothing more than what I'd do to here.

IN FACT, we were in the planning stages of a major TSOCF assault on BoF but as the FF along with CC & SM of the TSOCF I called off the attack on BoF (mostly JG) out of respect for SHH and TDK. God bless the USA. TEOL.

Couple more examples. It's really hard to work with a limited amount of images, but instead of trying to accurately re-create the shots, I was going more for the tone, colors, and overall feel of the trailer.


The very first shot was quite similar in feel to these shots from the M:I3 trailer, with a maskless Bats replacing Tom Cruise.

A different angle of this scene shows him coming down on the van from the front. It looks like he comes down on it with A LOT more force than the version we've previously seen. Awesome shot.

These last 2 are photoshops of his meeting with the mob. Again, limited amount of images to work from, but I think I got the colors and feel of it ok.

"Here's my card." The actual version isn't as close up, as you can see the majority of his torso behind the table as he whips the card out of his inside pocket.

People who saw the trailer did say the mob meets him in a "brightly-lit room" but your caps help us further.

It's a manip. The body is from the first shot of the new TDK suit that was released, and the head is from a promo pic from BB.
