The move was initiated by Warner Bros., which has been hunting down videos of the trailer and asking website like YouTube to remove it due to copyright infringement. The video wasn't actually the official trailer but a "sneak peak" played before showings of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," a move thought to be a goldmine for increasing interest.
The trailer begins with the words, "Every Hero Has A Journey" across the screen, then shows scenes from the first movie of the series, Batman Begins. Ra's al Ghul says, "If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal, then you become something else entirely, a legend, Mr. Wayne, a legend."
The words "Every Hero Has An End" are then displayed, followed by an image of Batman and arch-nemesis Bane. Batman looks frightened and begins to back away from him.
The actual trailer will be released on July 18, said IMDB.
So far, there is more buzz than answers about the movie. Much of the mystery is surrounding Bane, one of the lesser known rivals of Batman yet one of the most dangerous. A key question among hardcore fans is if Bane will break the back of Batman, the accomplishment he is most known for.
