Friends, the eye is just a robotic eye, nothing else. There's nothing human about it. Stop arguing over who's eye it is...it's nobodies, just a robots.

Red is for decepticons (bad guys)

Well to fans, it does matter who's eye it could be. It could give a hint about that certain character or what might happen with one of the Factions.
They aren't just robots...they are fan-favorite characters.

If it were Prime's eye...it is awfully meancing for Prime. One could interpret that even though the Autobots are here to protect humans, their presence is still a threat.

Also, if it were Prime's eye, it's a good glimpse of what his facial structure could be.
