i wasn't giving him attitude. guitarsingerguy said it's IMPOSSIBLE..... I was like "no it's not", anything is impossible. And than you said i have a crazy set up, how crazy can connecting speakers to your computer/monitor get

Plenty of stuff is IMPOSSIBLE without the proper equipment. I sell musical instruments and PA equipment for a living and have been doing so for almost 10 years. For one, you aren't very specific about what you have. That makes troubleshooting anything a problem. Two, the guy on Amazon honestly, doesn't make much sense to me. Each colored slot on your sound card should be for a separate speaker giving you the option of 5.1, 7.1 sound depending on your particular card. If there is an INPUT on the soundcard then you need to plug the adapter into that. What you should do is buy a cheap set of speakers that has RCA inputs for the red and white audio cables built onto it. If you want helping you to go smoother then my suggestion would either be to take pictures of what you have and post them, or at least go online and find the specific model of each thing you have and post that.
