not only is he in it he seems to be a vital part of the story.Akuma is in this? Awesome!
Mentioned briefly on stream. Ono (producer of SF4 and 5) said TxSF got scrapped so Capcom is allowing Namco to use Street Fighter characters and re-envision them. Akuma's officially canon in Tekken and more SF characters are coming supposedly in updates
I'll wait for an announcement because harada did say that the overall roster of tekken 7 is supposed to be smaller than previous installments. if they start bringing in sf characters one after another then it'll be pretty close.I posted this over in the SFV Thread.
From Reddit.
I don't know which Stream he means, so I have no way of verifying it. But if it's true, it looks like they are just focusing on Tekken 7, and bring in a few other Street Fighter characters through updates. So it probably won't be a game with equal parts Street Fighter and Tekken characters. Just Tekken with a few hand picked Street Fighter characters.
agreed, 100%. it's really weird to me that they're bringing him in as part of the conclusion of the whole mishima saga instead of just a guest character. i mean, i guess it's cool if he is a part of the story but he seems like a pretty major part of it.Not me. I prefer SF and was looking forward to what Namco had in store in terms of their crossover. IMO, SF should be kept out of Tekken lore
that's not true. tekken 7 was announced before sf5.Without Street Fighter you wouldn't be getting a Tekken.
what I find weird about this is is that he still looks like he has the art style of a sf character, and still plays like a sf character. i thought for the concept of sfxt, all the sf characters would have tekken style art and fighting. isn't that how the tekken characters were in sf?
the command input could still be the same but the way he looks and fights makes it look like he's still in a street fighter game, not a tekken game.Well, we do not know how different the command input is going to be.
a lot of people like to button mash when they play tekken. Its funny bc I always found TK harder to master and SF easy to jump into
Tekken might be the most button mashed due to the fact that every input button, circle, x, square, triangle, are all limbs. People hold the controller differently just so it's easier to mash the buttons.I lot of people button smash when the play ANY fighter. SF, MK, Tekken..
Soul Calibur online was probably the worst.
soul calibur 2, from back in the day...imo one of the greatest fighting games of all time.I could really go for a new Soul Calibur. I haven't played one since the second one.
I'm pretty sure the first one is considered one of the greatest games of all time.I liked the first one better.
