Tenchu Z

If there is anyone who has Tenchu Z but hasn't really played it yet send a message to "The Get Backer" on Xbox Live. I need a co-op partner and don't really know anyone. Single player looks fun, but it's always (imo) more enjoyable with 2 people. I'm going to hold off for a day or so until I can find someone to play it with (unless someone messages me today, then we can start tonight). Let me know!

Hey, im down to play man.

I agree with Pat. Im mean its certainly not the best game I've ever played but it is still enjoyable nonetheless. The game has decent enough graphics (they seem pretty fitting for the scenario), the sounds are pretty good and realistic, and the gameplay is responsive. Yeah some of the missions are redundant and I would have liked a few more different kinds of stealth kills or more weapons but overall its a fun game. The online co-op is great. Playing as a team makes things a whole lot more entertaining. That gamespot review was especially harsh I would not say it has any "fatal" flaws and yeah you can run through the game but that is pointless and defeats the purpose. You get a Ninja 1 ranking virtually no money to purchase unlock ables and advance in the game. The game in no way deserves anything below a 6.5. Personally Id give it a 7.5.Its a good not a great but a good game that is worth at least renting and playing if your at all interested in stealth or ninja games.

guess theres no reason why anyone should be bothered that this went exclusive

Gamespot lost some of my respect with that review. They mention no mission veriety, yet later they offer up the different mission types. As D. Rex mentioned if you rush through the missions, you loose out on advancing your character and getting stronger (and you need to be stronger for the forced boss fights). If there was something to complain about is that why do you need two buttons to block, and the enemy line of sight is pathetic you get seen (!) at around the high 70's and spotted (!!) around 80 and up. Only two REAL flaws I see in the game.

On a lighter side, I do enjoy the fact they remade some of the older Tenchu 1 and 2 levels. It added to the nostalga.

Besides the fact that the game plays really well, i think the create a ninja saved it for me. I loved that. There are so many options to create the ninja of your choice. I love the game.

Yep. Being able to recreate Ayame was one of the things I was looking forward to do, as I sorley missed her, however as time went on, she has evolved into a more interesting character design.

I have to say, that after completing Tenchu Z and unlocking everything, I have a blast playing this game. It's fun, pure and simple. Take it from a pure gamer at heart, this game is worth checking out. It's a blast.

I agree with all of the last four comments. The game is actually a lot of fun when played the way its intended to be. There is a lot to do and the stealth kills are really cool. Making your own ninja is definitely the most fun Ive had in character customization since CJ in San Andreas. I say its a solid title. Its not ninja gaiden but its meant to give a more realistic feel. Flaws are there (enemy AI) but they are nothing that cant be overlooked.

I might gives this a try, my roomate is always playing and begs me to get it...I guess it's co-op online?

Online Co-Op, yup. And from what I hear, the deathmatch from earlier Tenchu titles is coming as an update later on. Beware, LAG is a problem in some missions, especially with 4 players playing.

So is this game worth picking up?

man, i say its only worth it if you are a big Tenchu fan or literally have 60 bux just taking up space in ur wallet. I like it because i enjoyed the previous Tenchu titles. As much as i enjoy the game i still dont think its worth the full 60 dollar price tag.

the demo was awful :(

if you're chased by an enemy just jump on a wall and they forget you even exist :(
