Action-Adventure Terminator: Dark Fate

Fury in Captain Marvel is the only one that's getting there. Pym was shaky, but still better than everything else.

Davis:
“I think it ties into the first two movies in a way that’s really important, the whole scene with the blade on the table. Beyond that, I feel so scared to talk about this movie.”
I wonder what that means.

I mean, how it should play into the narrative of the third film. Why exactly this scene...

About the deaging stuff, there's still room for improvement, but despite all the crap the movie got... they did a pretty damn good job with it in Genisys.

No, digital Arnold was really bad. If this is the level of CGI job we're going to see in Dark Fate, I'm out.

Genisys was 4 years ago, or probably 5 if you include production. We're just not quite there yet with the technology, but overall it doesn't make me lose interest in the movie.

We don't even know how or what happens yet. It could be a 5 second flashback or 5 minutes.

Of course a lot will depend on how it's used. Cameron also said the have the right technology now... So who knows. Maybe he offered some new know-how from his new Avatars to Tim Miller... But the way it's done in Genisys is just awful. Brute-forcing mega-flawed CGI...

I thought Fury was pretty good in Captain Marvel. Definitely better than Pym, IMO.

Fury is definitely the best yet. Plus SLJ not being as old as Douglas really helps too. Since age gap smaller and physical deformations are less problematic. It's not the case with Hamilton and Archibald. Age alone makes it far more challenging...

I hope that it is a good film.
I wouldn’t be as excited as I am we’re it not for Linda’s return.
Sounds like that PreViz really helped her keep track of the story.

Fury is rather great in Captain Marvel imo. People had a problem with him?

SLJ looks very young. he doesnt have thick big wrinkles and he doestnt have folded skin. this is the hardest to do with de-aging manually. the difference between SLJ and Douglas is probaby 3-4 weeks of extra work. With Hamilton it would be a long process if they would do it like Douglas and SLJ. with her they need to go full CGI face replacement.

look at this.SLJ face deaging. this is easy.

I hope they won't go full CGI face replacement. With some adjustment it can be at least as good as Pym (or maybe even better, since technology probably evolved).

This is shaping up quite interestingly, of the big end of year releases Episode IX is the only one I'm looking forward to seeing some footage of more.

Yeah, This film is starting to generate interest.
We shall see what it all amounts to.

Dark Fate joined Joker and Once Upon a Time... as the most interesting films of 2019 for me. Of course I'm not 100% sure I'll watch it, I need to see trailers to be sure it's not another piece of **** Terminator sequel, but so far everything sounds super-exciting.

I am impressed that the film seems to be on a lot of people’s radar since Cinemacon.
We shall see what happens next.

I'm glad they kept the first look pics low-key this time.

AND please for the love of Skynet, do not give us anything like this garbage.

Sorry for posting this, but I still cannot believe they thought this was OK for the first look... or any f*****g look!!!
