Fury in Captain Marvel is the only one that's getting there. Pym was shaky, but still better than everything else.
I wonder what that means.“I think it ties into the first two movies in a way that’s really important, the whole scene with the blade on the table. Beyond that, I feel so scared to talk about this movie.”
Davis:
I wonder what that means.
Of course a lot will depend on how it's used. Cameron also said the have the right technology now... So who knows. Maybe he offered some new know-how from his new Avatars to Tim Miller... But the way it's done in Genisys is just awful. Brute-forcing mega-flawed CGI...Genisys was 4 years ago, or probably 5 if you include production. We're just not quite there yet with the technology, but overall it doesn't make me lose interest in the movie.
We don't even know how or what happens yet. It could be a 5 second flashback or 5 minutes.
Fury is definitely the best yet. Plus SLJ not being as old as Douglas really helps too. Since age gap smaller and physical deformations are less problematic. It's not the case with Hamilton and Archibald. Age alone makes it far more challenging...I thought Fury was pretty good in Captain Marvel. Definitely better than Pym, IMO.
No, digital Arnold was really bad. If this is the level of CGI job we're going to see in Dark Fate, I'm out.
Far from perfect. But certainly better than genisys or rogue one.It should be a mixture of both real and digital, bald man. Like they did on BR2049 with Sean Young. That was perfect.
I am impressed that the film seems to be on a lot of people’s radar since Cinemacon.Dark Fate joined Joker and Once Upon a Time... as the most interesting films of 2019 for me. Of course I'm not 100% sure I'll watch it, I need to see trailers to be sure it's not another piece of **** Terminator sequel, but so far everything sounds super-exciting.
