I don't know what to think about the trailer. Feeling mixed but not sure exactly what

I just don't why we should be excited about this. It just looks like Cameron and Miller borrowed things from every bad Terminator sequel before.

Why does the poster say DAY AFTER JUDGEMENT DAY? Doesn't look like Judgement Day has started yet.

If it's the EVE of Judgement Day, Terminator 3 already did that.

I don't get why we need to be excited about another saviour person being protected.

I guess after all this time John Connor never mattered that much and Kyle was a liar.

The music cues in the trailer were ****. This is why I don't trust Cameron's involvement. They didn't even use the classic music.

Arnold (his PR team) posted the trailer on reddit . IMO some of the comments are obviously planted and fake to give a positive vibe.

Mackenzie Davis character - I mean we saw the machine/human hybrids back in Salvation.

And she doesn't know who Sarah Connor is. What a tweest!

Someone just explain to me, did the Terminator movies **** us over by building up John as this legendary epic leader?

Was all that a lie? Is this new film about deconstructing the John Connor myth? I feel like we might as well just do that now after the previous sequels pretty much **** all over John, especially Gensisys.

I never got the sense that Genisys was intentionally campy either, just badly written.

Action looks fine. From a pure entertainment pov I think it will deliver. I'm just worried there going to cover yet another time travel assassination attempt. Hopefully there's a twist.

How is it that the good terminators can take actual damage but the bad terminators can just grow there skin or parts right back and go about there way? Couldn't the resistance by now have caught and reprogrammed one of these nano terminators to be good?

Looks better than Genesys (anything did) but that's not saying much. Depends on how the full trailer goes, I'm not aching to see this in theaters.

On a side note, what is up with trailers using this type of subdued singer who seems to be barely awake? Gets on ****ing my nerves.

Nah its just the dumb writers wrote themselves into a corner with the first two and have no idea where to go. You cant exactly branch off when you start off on a dead end street.

I REALLY Liked Mackenzie Davis.

Yeah, Mackenzie and Linda pretty much guaranteed that I'll see this thing. Luna's Terminator looks pretty underwhelming right now but maybe that will improve. The effects look iffy but I'll deal with it if the story is actually good this time (which hasn't been the case for the last three movies).

This ^ Story, concept, characters, all sound great!

While this all looks very superficial.

hopefully underlying in the somewhat mediocre trailer is some of what Cameron is tapping into, and comes through the director (just hasn't all been revealed in the trailer). And of course they are holding back on Schwarzenegger who will be explored as Cameron describes.
Which to me is worth giving this film a chance.
looking forward to it.

LOL Anyone else kept expecting Luna to burst into a flaming skull.

What's the deal with Arnold in this? Is he a human who gets captured and copied by Skynet to be the basis of the T-800s? Or is he playing an aged Terminator like he did in the last movie?

There still hasn't been something truly terrifying as the original endoskeleton from The Terminator and the closest I've got to that was the cool fight in that warehouse in Genisys.
Other than that, it seems like the franchise keeps trying to wow with special effects and new terminators and the best thing about the first two is the horror factor with actual scary villains/terminators. That's what I think has been missing in every sequel since the third one.

the new movie needed to be 100% about Sarah Connor and have the little girl as a side character that can maybe...maybe be in the sequel. With the focus on the little girl they lost all the old fans. people above 40 years old. why should they care?
