Apparently the embargo lifts at 7 PM EST tonight. So midnight in the UK I believe.

Just saw a surprise advance screening of Terminator: Dark Fate last night! All I can say right off the bat is that this IS the Terminator movie I’ve been waiting for since T2. Brutal, visceral with action that’ll make any fan of the series salivate.

I can’t wait to see it again!

Wow! I really hope this is my experience of it too. The return of Hamilton/Connor is going to make this a must see regardless of how the film is overall for me.

Even looking past Terminator, this is mostly always the case. I feel like I rarely see a flat out negative review before the embargo lifts. I assume because studios don't care about positive words leaking early vs negative. Always take the pre embargo stuff with a grain of salt.

But I am glad this seems to be at least decent. Ill probably wait until HBO or wherever unless I'm bored

Gears of War 5 has a Terminator Horde Mode, where you take on an army of Terminators. Pretty fun, and even better given one of the players can be Sarah Connor.

Positive reviews or not I'm there. As a Terminator fan I do like a lot of the stuff of hearing, so I'm willing to go into this very optimistic, but at the same time I'm definitely not expecting something on the level of T1 or T2 which I pretty much gave up on years ago.

Doesn't that youtuber Grace ever get tired of making stupid faces? Every thumbnail of her videos have similar facial expressions.

More like annoyed. I watch a lot of trailer reaction compilations on YouTube and she's always featured. She stands out sore a sore thumb because of her facial expressions, certain comments and voice

Never trust early Twitter reactions. They always gush about hyped blockbusters. People tend to let the excitement of seeing a film like this early influence their evaluation of the film way too much.

I'm actually surprised. After the twitter reactions I expected this to start in the 30% range.

Anythings possible, Aladdin made a billion despite everyone collectively going “meh” over it and a rotten RT score.

Critics might have been indifferent, but, the reason Aladdin did so well was repeat viewings. Will audiences repeatedly watch Dark Fate multiple times? We shall see.

I really loved Aladdin despite the reviews so if I enjoy DF that much I’ll be happy af.

I said it before that this will probably be like Predators and I got a feeling I was right on. And I think Predators would’ve done better now when there’s more demand for R-rated actioners. I’m hopeful for DF is what I’m trying to say.
