I have faith that the non-action scenes will be dreadfully boring, and that the action scenes will be "okay" but not visually interesting.

True. Even that plane stuff toward the end reminded me of the T:G helicopter chase, with Arnie jumping from one to the other etc.

I hope that plane sequence isn't the end. We don't need another too dark finale.

this definitely looks better than Genysis. It doesn’t look like a cartoon first of all. Second, the vibe is very much Terminator 1 which is a nice change since all the other “alternate” sequels were aping the second one.
