I personally don't understand how you can have Sarah Connor in this movie, and not have it be Linda.I understand Linda is getting on in years but how can this be THE Sarah Conner of the Terminator universe and not look like her T1/2 counterpart?. It's not like this movie is a reboot, it's continuing the continuity of the previous films. Did she get plastic surgery?

oh come on If you have seen the leaked photos you can see she has a passable enough resemblance to Linda Hamilton and we already know the story is goin back to a young Sarah so surely you can understand why Linda Hamilton hasnt returned + the movie will probably be **** so why would she want to

if James was still married to Linda he would get the studio to writte a script where we see an old Sarah Connor so that both Linda and Arnold would have scenes together

i like how James is having fun with hollywood. the studio asks James for ideas and he just throws out a story with an old Terminator so that Arnold can come back. they all know that his star is in no way big to give him that big paycheck . but they can not help it.

Recasting (for whatever reason) without rebooting has been happening in films and TV shows for years. Most recasting requires literally no explanation, if the production are treating the audience with a bit of respect and assuming that they have a modicum of common sense.; otherwise its a hokey Dynasty-esque situation a.k.a plastic surgery. Put it another way, there have been a few recasts in Game of Thrones but its never really required explanation; it more of a 'yes, a recasting has occurred - now move along. Nothing to see here.........

Reminds me of the whole recasting issue for Banner in the Avengers. There was a guy on here who maintained that they had to explain in the movie why Banner didn't look like Edward Norton anymore and was adamant that they had to write in that Banner got plastic surgery to escape from General Ross. Everyone else on the board was like 'Why'?'

Linda Hamilton is 20 years older than T2. She wouldn't look the same as her T1/T2 counterpart either.

It sucks for the filmmakers that the plot leaked.

There Is bit of confusion based on how the sites which broke the spoilers reported them.

Going to message boards and requesting all reports on spoilers be removed says they are real and Paramount Is worried they leaked.

For now I would say since the part that would have really pissed off fans was apparently removed during rewrites the Spoilers a film where it will be hard for GA to keep things straight.It sounds like the most convulted time travel story ever.

James Bond is the standard response to this kind of thing. Same guy, a half dozen or more different characters playing him in the movies.

A plot that was leaked and being taken down at studio request could mean many things. One major reason could be that it is NOT the correct plot and they do not want bad word of mouth early on about a film. In the realm known as "fan boys on the internet" that can be the kiss of death as much as the plot being real and people not liking it. So, my advice is, take a "wait and see" attitude about this one.
