Keep in mind that Rise of the Planet of the Apes and X-Men First Class had bad buzz before they got released to acclaim. I remember Latino Review said that 'First Class' could be a major disaster. It really shows that we should wait till the final product.

the question is if the script could be made into a good movie?
because we know that a movie can have scenes deleted and reshoot to make it better. we know the hollywood stories. sometimes movies are saved in the last 3 months.t:

IMO even if the leak wouldnt happen the story would be changed in post production. they would remove at least 30 % of ''fat''. i know this because thats how Cameron is doing it and they are desperate

I'm glad I only skimmed the plot, because right now I can barely remember anything from it. I certainly can't make sense of it.

So I'll be fairly fresh come opening weekend.

I think the studio wanted it removed because it misrepresents the movie. That and it spoils it all. The way it was written was poorly constructed and confusing.

I don't know. every studio works differently with different execs per project. the ones for terminator are probably overly cautious. I don't know.

This is not just removing copy righted material. We were told that we can not talk about it at all. Which is different for this forum. They were clearly threatened with something here

Apparently (I haven't seen it myself) the guy who leaked the rough trailer images says that the plot synopsis is from older drafts, which could account for it's removal (and give the people who didn't like it hope that it's since improved).

Using bully tactics to suppress unflattering information about your movie... what a great idea. So instead of being interested in talking about their movie or being interested in seeing their movie, I am now more interested in talking about what *******s the studio are. What a fantastic way to build buzz for their new Terminator movie.

Seems like a violation of freedom of speech to me. I mean its out there, if not here we'll talk about it elsewhere, so it seems kind of stupid and makes the studio look even worse.

This isn't the government supressing speech so it's not violating anything except the credibility of the future of this movie.

I want it to be wrong or at least less convoluted than it is but when a studio comes in and says "can you delete these posts" it tells you something is definitely close to the mark or they have little confidence it can weather poor pre-release hype.
