However, I dont think people should use this EW photoshoot as evidence that the movie will be bad like Ive seen a couple people do. This photoshoot is bad but it's not really the movie's fault

I agree, EW just does crappy shoots in general. The EW shoot was, for lack of a better term, a terrible coming out party though.

I'm still gonna see this for the two Clarke's and Byung-hun Lee, but I don't have much faith at all.

The screenwriter is "Patrick Lussier". And you wonder why most hollywood flicks suck. They don´t even make an effort to hire talented people. So many talented writers out there and this is the best they can come up with? Seriously? They just don´t care.

I'm not judging this movie by the photoshoot (though it certainly doesn't help). I'm judging it by that horrible-sounding synopsis.

Courtney playing Reese is like casting Daniel Day Lewis to play Rosa Parks. Sorry but it doesn't matter how awesome you might be at acting you are dead wrong for the role.

The thought of Reese just being turned into this generic action guy indistinguishable from a thousand others is irritating.

It's like when Cameron was making the original film and the financiers wanted him to cast Arnold as Kyle Reese.

Cameron hated the idea and with good reason. It was a betrayal of the character.

Cameron agreed to to have lunch with Arnold but he was planning on picking a fight with him and citing creative differences hehe, so it wouldn't gain further traction. They ended up hitting it off though and that's when it struck Cameron that Arnold was actually perfect for the Terminator.
