Terminator: Genisys - Part 4

May as well be spoiler filled, I don't give a **** at this point.

Even if it were true, it doesn't mean Cameron can't make a mistake or that this particular execution of his idea was done properly.

There is no way to write him out considering his human persona in the universe was the basis for a few of the T-800s. He can milk it forever.

We will see if this film gets a sequel, frankly I doubt it. I've been wrong before though.

What the hell are they gonna keeping doing to explain this older Terminator with an aging Arnold???

Some news!

Man I wish Blomkamp was making a Terminator film. sigh

Suddenly takes place in South Africa, Sharlto Copley is John Connor.

Maybe they'll just keep sending Terminators further back in time or something similarly tired and flogged to death.

I thought they already have plans for 2 more. Of course, whether they actually have the funds to make them is another story.

Why are they planning for another sequel when no one wants this sequel?

TS was planned as the first of a trilogy, too.

#justsayin'.

You'd think after 2 failed 'reboot sequels' they'd throw in the towel... maybe after 3 they might.

You think being one of the greatest action movies of all time they would treat it seriously and get some proper creative types behind it i mean really its ****ing The Terminator!

What are the odds of this thing becoming the next "Rise of the Planet of the Apes"? By that I mean a sequel that no one wanted or asked for that will be dismissed as a pointless attempt to revive a franchise, but then turn out to surpass every expectation?

Probably slim to none, right?

I acknowledge that anything can happen. If the film isn't **** then I will admit that it isn't. I just about never want a film to be bad.

If the movie's good I'll jump up and down in joy. I'm a Terminator fan after all. Why wouldn't I want it to be good? It's just that I have... a lot of doubts.

This reminds me of all the sequel reports for a film like Green Lantern and Tron Legacy.

All the trades and online outlets like to report that these movies are happening...and then its like they do not ever retract their false articles when they do not happen.

Hopefully if this bombs hard enough, Arnold joins Banshee season 4 instead.

I think at this point, the movie will get mixed reception at best. A lot of people are already so negative over trailers, posters, casting, plot decisions, that they're just gonna dislike it no matter what. Not saying everyone is like that, but when there is a lot of disappointment in the air going into something, a mixed reception is probably the best you can hope for.

I'm going to see the movie, and I hope it will be good, but after T3 and Salvation, it's like beating a dead horse. At best I hope we get a good enough sequel that it could end the franchise on a decent level, rather than the lowest pits of hell (Salvation).

As the war rages on and the Connors eventually lose their humanity and become more emotionless and machine like they will send one of them selves back in time to kill an aged solider that was the model for the original T800

And then they find out that the aged soldier is a robot.

Ahnuld: "I have always been a machine. It's a rare, genetic disease!"

The End! Btw: spoilers.

I'd love to see them just say "F*** it" and make a series of Terminator movies where they send the T-800s back to time periods that don't make any sense at all. Like they send one back to kill George Washington and stop the American Revolution, so that the Brits would maintain rule over America and eventually be the ones who build Skynet. For some reason.

Or a cartoon for kids, with history lessons and stuff like that. "Uncle Termie's Time Travels". In one of the episodes, he kills all of the dinosaurs.
