Also, he mentions he's never working with McG again. :hehe:

Great interview with Bale in the WSJ. I wonder if he has any criticisms about Scott, since Exodus is his first time workng with him and the reviews for Exodus are largely negative-mediocre.

And I agree with the poster that said Salvation looked fantastic. WB's marketing team did great work on that film...too bad the final product was ****. It was probably my most disappointing experience at the cinema.

So insta-morph didn't catch on? :woot: I was hoping it would replace the perma-white...

Watching the trailer I just can't stop thinking how terrible this looks. It feels cheap, the acting looks so bad that it is just awful.

Terminator Salvation looked awesome from the trailer, but the movie ended up being crap. This looks terrible from the trailer, so hoping it turns out good (but unlikely).

Bale was right and I would love to know more of why from him.

For real.

Well, either that sucks or I'm incapable of detecting sarcasm. :csad:

You guys probably know about this but the original script was an abortion in the sense that it took a huge dump on the franchise's canon, and also one of the main reasons the filming cycle was so chaotic and messy. I think that's the reason why.

lol wat? How? What about it looks cheap? How can the acting seem terrible in such a small sample? lol

I don't think it looks cheap at all. I think people are concerned about the plot and some of the choices for the actors.

I think Im nearly as excited as when T3 was coming out, even tho T3 turned out to be what it was. I like the idea of the new movie actually sort of walking into the first movie literally, I love the fact theyre even using footage from the first film (http://bitcast-a-sm.bitgravity.com/slashfilm/wp/wp-content/images/terminatorcomparison.jpg) and I love the fact that the T-1000, in police uniform no less, is making a comeback and as a main villain. I also think there is some great potential with the friendship/relationship between the Guardian T-800 and Sarah, I like that shot of her as a little child being carried by the T-800.

Again, theres some great potential there, something like Leon the Professional perhaps, but we'll see if they'll explore it

Then theres the TDE, very closely resembling Cameron's vision and designs, Centurions etc

What I dont like is the casting. I think everyone is terribly miscast, and I also dont like the over the top, Marvel CG action. But overall, Im very excited about this actually

I cant stop thinking how much more i would have been for this movie if the trailer opened with rolling vehicles and skull crushing instead of the ****** cgi flying hks. the future war stuff we have seen just looks like a set. im jealous of the new mad max movie, i wish this movie was gettin the same treatment

There are only the original first two films for me, this new one is a parody of those two. This looks like fun even if it ends up being a bit stupid.

Is it just me, or does Sebastian Stan look a bit like a young Michael Biehn?

I think Stan could be more like Biehn's Reese than Jai Courtney, but he might have been too tied up with Captain America movies anyway.

Sure does, but Hollywood doesn't have enough intelligence to cast Stan. They need generic action face hero.

But Stan doesn't have that frat boy *****ebag look! So he can't be a leading action hero!

I can easily imagine Stan as a faithful version of Reese. Hence why it would never happen.

Damn... yeah I never thought about that. Stan wouldve been cool

Holy ****, I never noticed it, but now that you've said it, :wow: he does look like Michael Bienh

Jai Courtney is a slightly more talented Aussie Channing Tatum. That's right, I said it. Just because you do decent work on premium cable does not make you good in everything bro.

Is this a jab at Jai or at Channing? I've never seen Channing do stuff on cable.

And on the subject Jai I've only seen him in A Good Day To Die Hard (terrible film) but I'm thinking this guy could even act better than Sam Worthington.
