Well you know we can't tell if the film is too convoluted, confusing or busy when we haven't seen it yet. No reason to make comments like this at the moment. The marketing team knows what they are doing. I disagree with the approach, but it works.
That's what people always say about movies that look awful. Well, you haven't seen it yet, wait for the finished product. Amazing Spider-man 2 looked like a convoluted mess from the trailers and guess what, the final product was a just that. Green Lantern, Catwoman, Fantastic Four, all looked pretty bad from the trailer, we waited for the final product and guess what they were all bad.
These marketing teams are picking the best parts of the movie to be in the trailer to entice audiences, however, the trailer has no enticing parts, just crap. Now, they're getting desperate so they're showing a big "oh damn" moment hoping that will generate interest and it's a bad "oh damn" moment and it's falling flat too. I love the first two movies, but this franchise needs James Cameron, people think it's Arnold, but they're wrong, Cameron is what made it great.
