I guess people missed the main point of me pointing that out: this film, which relies heavily on nostalgia of the original films, has many inconsistencies with the original films. Therefore, their whole "greatest hits" idea loses value. Plus, are they going to acknowledge these inconsistencies or just let it slide?

That is all I was getting at with the whole Asian T-1000...

If this movie ends up being amazing and on the level of Rise/Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, this will be my favorite thread of all time, haha.

Why compare it to those movies? Those movies didn't look bad. I remember some big skepticism with Rise, but people were hyped for Dawn.

Everything looks wrong with Genysis. Casting, cheap FX, inaccuracies while trying to recreate 1984, plot points, plot twists. Awfulness everywhere.

I don't mind that it looks like it's smiling. It always looked like that to me.

Actually I think the fact looks like it's smiling looks even more creepy to me. Now that does not a good movie make, but I don't really care about the "smile"

they even screwed up the exo-skeleton and that was easy. Simply use the one from T2 or even T1.

Not only is the head and body sculpt terrible, the terminator is missing the gap in its' teeth that Stan Winston put in there.

It's like they don't even know what they're doing. It pisses me off.

Yea it's really testing my patience with these little FU's to the fans and audience. The endoskeleton from T1 and 2 was way more haunting it had a presence. In T1 and 2 of course the teeth has always been shown. Difference is they were not pearly whites from hollywoods best dentist which is the case here .Also the atmosphere of the first 2 brought a sence of dread when ever you saw the endoskeleton staring with a smile that was a foreshadowing of things to come. Pain and death. That current pic is a parody as far as im concerned,they can't even get his neck pistons right

I just saw the trailer for the first time and..I'm really looking forward to it. It just looks so deranged and out there..even if it's bad, it won't be boring ike 3 and 4 were (imo). This idea of a deranged remix of the 1st film really has me hooked.
