I'm surprised they haven't shown any JK Simmons in the trailers. Sure, it seems he's playing a detective and it's not one of the biggest main roles, but he still won an academy award recently and even having his face pop up in one scene of a trailer would probably get some people interested.

I am sorry! But every time I see this new T- 1million I think of Ultron, lol

Shame, Shame.....

NO STRINGS ON ME!!

Looks like an AFTER SCHOOL special for Television starring Arnie as a concerned dad regarding a daughter on drugs.

BTW! do you think they digitally enhanced her breasts in every scene of the film?

I mean they are enhancing everything else in every single scene and shot. Why not, lol

She just looks so soft. Linda Hamilton would wipe the floor with her in 2 seconds.

Again as others pointed out, its not about being skinny. Its about attitude and looking battle ready. Darth showed you the difference between Clarke and those other actresses and you threw the "they're skinny" card? Wow dude just wow. Also here's another female Character I though was badass without all the superficial stuff you're talking about.

And Ripley from Alien and Aliens as well. Forgot about her.Clarke looks a high school girl. I don't buy her being this badass at all. And since when is an actress not considered a badass because they were skinny?:lmao: You're really reaching dude.

Characters like Sif and SW have super powers though, half of their on screen toughness comes from special effects, so that's not a fair comparison. If I am reaching that's your opinion, but I have bigger worries about this movie than Clark's body, as fine as it is!

Noomi Rapace wins the the jacked little lady awards.

unless Ms. Clarke will be roaming around with 3 terminator dragons I'll pass, IMO she is only interesting in Game of Thrones cause of the Dragons when they not around :csad:

I love the first 2 movies like most but can't get behind this story
John Conner as a villain? Go **** yourself

Noomi Rapace could have taken the role easily, i personally dont find a woman with that amount of muscle atractive, but for the role and the character it would make sense. To go over the top with her body would fit the totally nut situation the character is in.

She still has a very beautiful face, very feminine

Linda Hamilton's Sarah Connor was not the same Sarah Connor from T2 in The Terminator. She was a different person after the event of the first Terminator. Emilia Clarke totally has similar look as Hamilton's in the first Terminator film, with the exception of latter's more angular jaw and 80s hairstyle.

I'm guessing that Clarke's 's Sarah Connor in Terminator: Genisys will heavily use that Sarah Connor from the first Terminator.

Except Sarah Connor in Terminator 1 was first exposed to the whole Terminator thing in that film. According to this film, Sarah Connor has been exposed and trained since she was a kid.

Next up for the Terminator franchise...make a prequel on the dog.

Let's do this.

That she will become a hardcore mom? The psychology of a child who grew up to become adult in that scenario will be different from that of an adult who experienced similar scenario.

I never understood some people's fixation with Emila Clarke's supposedly "soft" look --I disagree with this line of thinking. I have seem female soldier with such "soft" look. Physical appearance can be deceptive.

exactly, she has been trained by POPS since she was a little girl.

Did Emilia Clarke do any kind of prep work for this role at all? Any weapons training? Any fight training? Any weight training? Anything at all?

She's playing a woman who was trained by a Terminator to fight Terminators and prepare for the end of the world. Nothing I've seen of her in this movie makes me believe she has done any of that. She is even blinking while firing a weapon in some clip from the film (I didn't see it but damn, if that is true that is... not good).

Linda Hamilton took playing Sarah Conner seriously and it showed. It takes hard work to play the character she played in T2. It takes commitment and dedication, from the performer and from the director and people producing the movie to make sure that character is believable.

Clarke is clearly no Linda Hamilton.

Why didn't she take this role seriously? There are plenty of actresses in Hollywood who would've KILLED for this part and she's the one who got the opportunity. It looks like she squandered it. It's sad. :(

Sometimes it is the atmosphere of the production. If the director and production team are pursuing a film with a particular vision, then the rest of the team, including the actors, try to realize that vision. However, if an authentic, believable tone is not one of the principle components of that vision, then the consequence is something like Terminator: Genisys. Whereas Cameron's Terminator films aimed for believable characters and relationships, this looks like those principle traits were set aside for some other rubbish. I think that is why Emilia, and frankly everyone else in this picture (from what we have seen), did not delve deep into their roles.

Arnold was on Australian TV and claimed that James Cameron is a big fan.

^ He's said stuff like that before though.

Arnold was very charismatic through the show... there were more than a few awkward moments when Jai was there.
