This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]500211[/split]
This summer has been great. Inside Out, Spy, and Mad Max is better then the vast majority of summers.I have to agree, not just with this movie but this summer in general has had less hype then previous years. Ultron was a dud for me and aside from mad max and jurassic world being massive surprises for me the rest have sucked. The rest of the movies this summer are coming but who os really talking about them? Antman may pick up some steam as the time draws near but thats still a tough sell. I really feel like movies like star wars belong in the summer time and not holiday releases in the winter.
Which is funny, considering we have had 3 movies make over 1.4b since April. The summer is fine in terms of quality. At least for me.
I just didn't/don't see that much pre release buzz for movies

That isn't true at all. San Andreas has made plenty of money. Inside Out is killing it at the Box Office. The Minions will kill it at the box office quite soon. We have two summer movies taking in 3 billion between just the two of them.Havent seen your 1st 2 but pre hype wise take away ultron and maybe pitch perfect 2 and of course JW this summer has been a dud hits wise.
I don't know where everyone here lives, but the last 3 months at the box office has been quite healthy. So whether you are feeling hype or buzz, it is manifesting at the Box Office.JW and AoU were 2 of the ones that I said had hype/buzz
ANd I said Pitch Perfect 2 had a lot of hype but it died downI felt after like the first week. At least in my world, friend circles, etc.

That is nice you don't like "kid's movies". But considering Inside Out is one of the highest reviewed films of the year, most don't see it as "just a kids movie". Plus, it has made loads of money.2 movies out of how many since ultron? I dont really care about kids movies Because you could stick mr hankey up there and slap a g rating and it would make bank. Im talking summer Blockbusters so far outside of ultron and jurassic world pre hype wise have been non existent. amd no offense but making a billion dollars worldwide now isnt exactly groundbreaking achievements.

How in the world do you do, "summer blockbusters outside of the two main summer blockbusters". So you want to strip out the majority of the box office to prove your point? You do realize that they change the market right? Also, plenty of films have don just fine, to great. The only bomb was Tomorrowland.
And you do realize since April we have seen what will end up being the third, fourth and sixth highest grossing movies of all time, in a 3 month span? Yeah, that isn't easy.
Yeah, that explains Dreamworks Animation financial problems. You really don't understand the box office do you? Not my fault.Again, let me hit the nail alittle further, PRE HYPE BUZZ, SUMMER BLOCKBUSTERS from may1 til end of august. , KIDS MOVIES ARE THE SAFEST MONEY MAKERS IN THE WORLD WHETHER REVIEWS ARE GOOD OR BAD.
Never said I didnt like kids movies but dont really care for them if I had to see them at the theaters. Please stop trolling and twisting post to your point of
View. There bright characters relating to kids made by a company that does movies that market to kids. Does it bring nostalgia out in parents? Yes but dont get it twisted there kids movies first and foremost so lets not put it up on some mountain and call it something else.
Its no secret now ethier that you have to hit the ground running your first weekend these days or else many see that as a bomb despite what its final run haul is. Hell PRE HYPE BUZZ no one was talking about mad max generally.

And don't twist your words? Do you even read what you write? You just degraded fantastic films because they are "made for kids". Yeah, I'm the troll.
You do realize everything PG-13 and under in the "summer blockbuster" realm, is intended for kids right? That is why they sell toys for Batman, Cap, Star Wars and Jurassic World. That doesn't stop a fantastic film from being fantastic. Zod, you are hilarious. The truth is degrading now? lol ok go on a saturday to any pixar/ disney/ dreamworks animation movie and look at the general audience and report back.
Turn on any kids channel and count how many times these movies are tv spotted to any other network and then tell me Im wrong. There kids movies but DO have elements for parents because how else are kids suppose to get to the theater? pre teens are gonna catch a bus or drive themselves?
I understand the box office just fine but your taking my pre hype buzz comment and trying to run another route with it other then what I directed it at.
They politely darkened his hair.
The figure is based on the part when he has brown hair. You can see the scene in the trailer. They politely darkened his hair.
Question about this movie:
Do they say in 2017? And if so, how does this film not collapse in on itself, as John Connor wouldn't exist if that happened, thus leaving the entire plot impossible.
