Yeah that's the one lol. I remember that.

100% *****ebaggery.

I need to find this video interview with the owners of Halycon. They are the two biggest and fakest *****ebags I've ever seen.

That's what I told people the minute that video was posted here a couple of years back. The guys were real-estate agents. They had no clue how to produce a film.

Lol too bad about the Halcyon Company. I thought they had a great name and a kickass logo. What a waste :hehe:

So have any of you seen the DC of the movie? I'm grabbing a blu-ray rip off the internet, and was wondering if any of you know what to expect in terms of additional footage or improvements to the theatrical release.

Problem for whomever buys up the rights is what do you do with it. It just recently (as in this year) failed to relaunch as a film franchise and television series. No matter who owns it will have to just sit on for the time being.

I'm curious about this as well. What's the running time, for instance?

Reboot is probably what's going to happen. That or something actually creative.

What are the chances that Bale will return? Because my assumption is, not a ****ing chance.

Bale is still owed money for Salvation. He won't show up for another Terminator until he's been fully paid from his first go-around.

^Althought i'd like to see him return as he has the potential to be a great John Connor, I cant see it happening, even if he gets fully payed, shame.

I don't think he'd be in either way.

The leaked audio tape, I believe, probably will keep him from working with that crew ever again. I haven't seen the movie, but hearing people say that Bale wasn't at his usual level in this movie was not a surprise. I think he felt railroaded. Who wouldn't have?

Bale being a dick to the crew is irrelevant. Crews work with *******s all the time - part of the job. If Salvation had done well enough, Bale would have been back. No doubt about it.

This franchise, if it continues, would likely be the first franchise to feature a different actor as the same lead character in 4 consecutive films. I'm not aware of any others anyway...

Yeah I doubt that stuff would matter, doubt the crew would come back if McG wasnt going to also.

I doubt it. Bale already has a cash cow.

I think once the studio leaked that tape, Bale was done with the film and done with Terminator. That's my guess, though.

^I dunno, if TS had made money, I think he would have been back, he may still be but it will be a tall order for the new owners to convince him now.

I don't think he'd had come back at all. Unless there was some apology behind the scenes with the studio execs or something. If this was Bale from '03 where it was tough to find work, I'd agree. But he's got alot of offers, I bet.

Him not getting paid is just added icing to a **** cake. I wonder if a different director would have kept it all in house or something. I dunno.

And not to get into it, because I'm sure everyone's had they're arguments over it but I didn't have a problem with what Bale did. Just saying.

Didnt have a problem with Bale in the movie myself. The reason I think he may come back is because he knows he aint going to want to do another Batman movie when Nolan leaves and I think he will after Batman 3, so he wanted another franchise to keep him going while he did other stuff as well.

Interesting. I guess that's a real possibility.

I never thought of Bale as a franchise actor, but these days franchises are a major part of Holyywood.

Bale has given interviews, where I for the first time have seen an actor as just a worker trying to pay his bills and earn a living. There was an interview I read where he said that things were bad for him, and he was willing to do a romantic comedy just to get by because there wasn't any cash flow for him.

Although I wonder if being attached to a franchise like Batman would keep him set for life, and not have to worry about doing a movie just to earn a living.

Is the entire cast still waiting on getting paid too?

Not sure about the entire cast as I imagine Bale's paycheck would have been the biggest.

Batman may set him up for life but I imagine he didnt get much for BB or TDK as he wasnt a household name at the time, so I think he would need a franchise to sustain him financially while also giving him the freedom to do more independent gigs were the money isnt as big. Kinda like what Norton was trying to do with The Incredible Hulk. Keep a franchise on the go to help fund more personal projects.

I want to continue blaming McG.

well who ever does by the rights who knows what crew/production company/producer-directors will come on board. Only thing that is likely to be apart of who ever does something with terminator is legacy fx(stan winston studios) most likely.

Unlike Ratner on X-Men: The Last Stand, the McG hatred from fanboys is legit (and this is coming from someone who liked Terminator: Salvation).

As much as as I like you and your reports and your posts Jamie, I will respectfully disagree with you on my hate for X-men 3 being illegit.

I was the only one calling McG for his BS after SDCC 08. No one wanted to be negative about T4 back then. It was going to be the saviour of the summer.

Just another ****** strike movie like DBE and GI JOE.

Speaking of which Jamie, what's going on at Paramount with GI JOE? Paramount doesn't seem too eager to announce a sequel.

seriously, screw x3. I don't defend Ratner because I don't care for him. He doesn't need pity because he was born rich, get hooked up with jobs early on, and dating supermodels. He doesn't need my support :p

yeah, if i ever see any of those two bozos, a kick to the balls to the each of ya!
