I'll give the DVD a rent just to see the deleted scenes (Moon's boobs). I doubt I'll buy it, though, unless it has an intro from McG saying that the theatrical release was just a practical joke and that the real movie is on disc two.

Oh and to answer the question, ill buy it. Im very curious about the special features, especially how they did the CG Arnold

I'd like it if it contained an apology a la Joel Schumacher. :woot:

i honestly thought this trilogy was gonna turn out great, but the movie was just meh. The whole thing with the human/terminator just happening to still have a human heart that he can donate to John Conner was kind of a dumb plot conclusion. I wouldve rather preferred he stay alive and fight along side of Conner and have Conner not have the heart issue. It couldve added a new aspect to the terminator movies that not all the machines are pure evil and that they could actually convert some of the machines by removing this chip that creates their orders. But it doesnt look like the movies will be continuing cuz of the whole bankruptcy.

I find it entertaining, so I might get the DVD .

My signature says what I think. But for anybody who enjoys photo illustrations, feel free to play with a Superman vs. Terminators poster. You can burn the S symbol on a Terminator's foreheard, or even put Arnold's face next to Superman's and have both their eyes glowing red.

True Salvation starts with Superman.

That makes no goddam sense. :cmad:

That really happend? :wow:

It's not a flat out apology, as in "I'm sorry Batman and Robin is full of homosexual overtones, poor dialogue, plots holes you can drive a truck through, and terrible set design."

It's more like "I'm sorry if you didn't like it"

More like, I'm sorry your tiny brains could not comprehend the awesomeness of the bat nipples.

I'm sure I'll watch it again but I wouldn't buy the DVD. It wasn't the worse movie in the universe or this year but it wasn't a good movie either. The movie didn't have heart and the script was s**t on ice.

McG did a nice job with the visuals but he needs to learn to do a better job with his actors. At the end of the day I think the writers strike killed the movie's chances of being good.

After Terminator 3, you can throw anything in there for a laugh. :woot: Having Superman arrive sure makes for some great visuals in that grey world of theirs. Just imagine it - an entire squadron of Terminators with their eyes glowing. Behind them, Superman descends with his heat vision ready to fire. :super: Or a pile of trashed Terminators with the :super: logo burned on their foreheads. It just sparks the imagination.

:super:alvation

I literally have no interest for the Terminator franchise anymore and, I will not be seeing the new film. Even though the idea is bad ass.

If I bought T3 on DVD, then I'll definitely buy Salvation, even though it could have been better.

im buying it, i already have T2 skynet edition so might as well get this one

Well that's a start in the right direction but hopefully more than an extra nude scene was added

Yeah, I hope some website reviews it and says what the differences are between the theatrical and this Director's Cut. Hopefully it will be quite a bit longer, I want more scenes with Connor.

I know too many poor movies have been blamed on the writers' strike but I think TS was genuinely hurt by it. If they'd had more time to work out the kinks in the script we could've had a really good movie on our hands. Sigh, what might have been...
