I haven't seen the movie yet, so I can't speak as to the film's quality, etc

I thought T3 was pretty damn bad. I just didn't like anyone except Arnold, really. John's future wife wasn't so bad, either. But, I didn't really like it.

As long as it's better than T3, for me that's enough. T1 and T2 are just untouchable classics that no other Terminator film can ever be. So, that's kinda how I approach watching these films...and even something like the Sarah Connor Chronicles (which I didn't like, either. I think I hated that more than T3, even.)

Btw, the high point of Sarah Connor Chronicles? Two gangbangers describing the events of 9-11 to Sarah Connor with the what appeared to be the artfrom of charades.

the same with superman returns. some people said that its worse then batman & robin. i understand if you are joking. i do it all the times. but to be 100% serious? sorry not.

Exactly, SR is one of them, I cant believe some of the comments people have made about it, same with Hulk, Spiderman 3, and Watchmen.

I saw Terminator Salvation last week, it's a good movie, it finally broke with the Terminator chasing Connor type of film. Thought some of the action sequences were hollow, but i liked how Marcus Wright was the first Terminator, the T-800 covered with flesh and organs. Bale did well, but doesn't match its performances in the Batman franchise. Some cool new terminators, hydrobots and aero-stuff, Hunter-killer. One big lack, no Schwarzenegger (i'm not counting that cgi termiantor with his face put on). Decent film but far away from T1 and 2, doesn't deserve that bad reviews. One other thing i wasn't pleased with is the 'You can have my heart' sequence at the end (with Connor en Wright), very similiar with Jetfire and Optimus Prime in Rotf.

Jetfire didnt give hes heart. he destroyed hes spark so that he died fast.. they had to fast combine hes parts with OP.

In TF lore sparks are basically hearts. So it is similar.

Nothing can quite capture the magic of dipicting the tragedy of 9/11 and the fall of the WTC...by having a dude hold one hand like up like a building, and use his other hand like the plane that crashed into it, all topped off with his "O" face.

Christ, was that sequence awkward.

I'm probably going to love Salvation if my head didn't explode during that sequence.

But. I liked Kyle's brother. Just did.

I just picked up my copy of Terminator Salvation on blu-ray. I was able to get it early because I live in NYC and stores start selling their copies very early. Didn't see it in theaters but I plan to watch the Director's Cut (rated R) today...and I'm excited!!!
