Just saw a promo on FX for the show, has anyone else heard anything about it?

It has Donal Logue (Grounded For Life) and Michael Raymond-James(True Blood)in it. It looks pretty good.

I think you missed an R in the title. :oldrazz:

But I am vaguely intrigued by what I've seen. Maybe I'll check out the premiere.

I thought it was pretty good, the two leads play off each other well and the set up for them as two down at the heel P.I.'s was well done.

I reckon the show may struggle to find an audience as the low ratings show, as it is not slick, badass or laugh out loud funny, but while it lasts I think it'll be entertaining.

I've been curious about this show. I recorded it for tonight and will watch it tomorrow if I can. It's about the first and only FX show I'm curious about.

Dude.

Watch It's Always Sunny. You wont regret it.

I first thought it was about cute little dogs.....boy was I wrong. lol

I liked it. Donal Logue is awesome, so I'm happy to see him as the lead. They make a good duo, and the down-on-luck P.I. angle is good. I'll stick with it.

I watched the pilot. It was alright. The further episodes look good so I think I'll keep up with it and see how it goes. Damn, once I start a show I feel the need to finish it. Covert Affairs ain't that great of a show, but I can't just stop in the middle of it.

Eh we'll see. I thought the show was OK. Sometimes pilots can be pretty average and the show can get better later so I might give the show another shot.

I just thought Logue's characters was a complete and utter idiot for kicking the hornet's nest of the rich guy like that. He completely puts his loved ones and also his partner's girlfriend at risk now. And then he has a whole attitude of "its gonna be fun."

I like the angle that Logue's character life went down the toilet and he's looking to redeem himself and rebuild his life. The bait and switch at the liquor store was nice. His character has an odd sense of naivety despite being an alcoholic and probably a recovering drug addict.

If they really wanted to take the rich guy down they really just should've refused his money released the video to the press and figure out a way to blur out the daughter's face or something.

Makes sense. I have a difficult time jumping into a series in the middle, myself. If I missed the first season, I'll probably wait until they re-air it or it's on Netflix Instant.

I totally agree. A pilot, I find, isn't really supposed to define the show...just sell you on the concept. I'm sold on the concept, and the characters. The young sidekick and his girlfriend, the ex-wife, the ex-buddy/partner, the evil rich guy...I think the setup is good. I expect the writing to get tighter, as it goes along.

My take on Logue's character was that he felt like ****ing **** up. His wife is getting remarried, his life is ******, and the bastard killed his friend...for what? For nothing. Just because. The wound was still raw when he went to see him, so...I thought it worked. That, and it seems like his friend getting murdered kicked his 'get justice' thirst to high gear.

To me it was just like a "Bring it on, I've been through so much **** in my life, at this point I think I can take the **** that's thrown at me."

Plus, it's just his attitude. I actually liked the fact they took the money instead of the typical refusing it. I thought it was funny.

It looks interesting...if a bit slow at times.... will definite keep an eye on this

I'll definitely watch more. With pilots, not everything is completely ironed out and firm.

And is it just me, or does his partner/friend seem alot like or is trying to be alot like RDJ? I'm serious. He resembles him even. Down to the goatee. He even has the same kind of laugh and smile.

I watched the pilot and I thought it was pretty good. Both the leads are great, as are the two women (girlfriend and ex-wife).

I don't know where this show will go but I'm intrigued enough to find out.

On a side note, the commercial for Lights Out (the new FX boxing show) looked really good. I can't wait to check it out.

I thought the premiere was decent, I'll give pretty much every F/X show a full season. I was only disappointed once with Justified. It's interesting and the leads are great, they have really good buddy chemistry going on.

This show is great. Last nites ep was solid. Starting to really like it plus its got my Lily from The 4400. And yea Ive always been a huge Donal Logue fan anyways but yea I love the chemistry between him and his partner (always forget his name)

Just saw the pilot. It was nice I like DOnal Logue. But I dont see it lasting long

The 2nd episode was even better but I hear the rating are terrible, which sucks
