i get bored of the trend in education where noone dares to answer questions. everyone just ends up sitting around waiting for things to move on.

There's a difference in listening to the course material and then asking lots of insightful questions and doing your own research so you can challenge what you are being taught and just rambling on about irrelevant nonsense or asking questions that force the instructor to repeat themselves on things they've already covered just because you weren't really paying attention.

There was a guy like that at one of my old jobs, always had something to say then talk **** about you because you did your own thing. And to make it worse, everyone liked this guy.

Be very careful. A lot of people who appear popular only seem that way because everyone else is too nice to tell them off, or too afraid to.

Yea, there was a girl like that in art class a few years back while briefly attending college.

Back on the day when the planes hit the world trade centre she was ask to talk about her drawing of a cup displayed on her easel, she drew a hart on the bottom right hand corner of the paper (about of equal size to the drawing of cup) and started going on about how she dedicated to victim's and family's of that horrible tragedy, it was cringe inducing, that girl was so up her own arse.

......i'm taking speech class in college (as part of my degree) and there's this really annoying guy in my class. Everytime the teacher asks a question, everytime something comes up, here's Mr. annoying running his ****ing mouth. Why ppl do this is beyond me. He's not like the classic class clown in HS, he's more of the Mr. Know it all. For every comment, or question the Professor asks, for example, "why is water wet?"; he goes into a 30 minute lecture of who, what and why water is, the way it is.

Does he think it makes him look cool?

Does he think it makes him look smart?

Does he think being the center of attention all the time will get him laid?

Your guess is as good as mine. But everytime he goes off on a rant, i find myself daydreaming about running over to his desk and stabbing him to death with a pen!

ugh, i hate people like that, i have 2 in my class. one of them is my friend....kind of,but he can be really annoying, but the otherone, you dont know how glad id be if he were hit by a car or something(not literally of course). The one thats my friend will do something stupid, but funny and the otherone tries to be funn,y doing the same thing, but just drags it on, and it pisses me of so much! And he's really perverted, i know alot of people dont like him

He would even use his computer to find out more on what he was talking about. One time, he was saying "Hey I found this book online about a Jewish girl in Holland that was hiding from the Nazis. Apparantly its pretty famous." The teacher tried not to laugh, I looked at him like and another classmate asked "Are you seriously describing The Diary of Ann Frank?" He looked embarassed and said "I've never heard of it before." I wanted to kill him.

This girl in my math class, she took the teachers last two math classes, it's a series of pre-cal/calculus classes, and every other sentence the teacher says, she's talking with the teacher trying to copy every word, always bringing up inside math stuff from semesters past and answering questions that aren't meant to be answered. She talks non-stop, even cracking math jokes that no one laughs at while the teacher's trying to teach. To top it off, she has as really high pitched, whiney voice, yet she's like 6'1" and 250lbs.

She seems nice, really smart, just talks too much.

I had a guy like that in my International Relations class. He had the most annoying voice, he had man boobs, and he tried to sound like a know it all but all his facts were usually wrong or made no sense and he would often say that Al Gore has no friends and go after Manbearpig.

Actually I'm black as well and I can totally understand that statement. There are a lot of obnoxious people of color out there and that together with the youth, man, the crap that flies out of their mouths.

My classes always seem to have a combination of the two. You have the older gentleman trying to get his life together and then you have the younger guy making weed jokes...Or it could just be because the majority of people in the schools I went to were black anyway.
