You hated the JLA: Act of God book or review? Because Linkara did a review about JLA: Act of God.


And yeah, I don't think she came off as trollish because she's very smart. But I think thats somewhat the problem with her. In some of her reviews she comes off as so smart that she can sound pretentious at times.

Was that the book where Martian Manhunter was like "OMG, maybe we were too arrogant with our powers, which make us abnormal!" even though J'onn himself technically had no powers because mindreading and shape-shifting are the Martian equivalent of having opposable thumbs?

Exactly. The writer (name escapes me) had no clue how to write any of the characters except Batman. Turning the whole book into a love letter to Batman (I think that's what Linkara called it).

While I think he does make some valid points, some of them could've tolerated because it is an elseworlds tale.

I wish DC still had Elseworlds
