If you check out the forum, you can find some links that google cached. I'm watching it right now.

"Anyway, how's your sex life?"

All the reviews of The Room have been taken down.

I think it's because the majority of the movie(almost fully) has been shown throughout each of the reviews.

Impossible.

The Critic's review was less than 30 minutes long. "The Room" has a runtime of 99 minutes. Even if the review contained 20 minutes of movie footage, that's barely more than a fifth of the entire film (not counting credits); Lupa's review doesn't use more than a few minutes - at most - of differing footage.

So what happened with the Room? Also is there a place to download his reviews? My computer doesn't have the beast speakers. I would like to DL it then put it my ITouch.

I think to download any of the reviews, you have to make a $20 donation to the site.

And apparently AA has a new series on the site, now he's talking about music videos.

The review is still on youtube if you have a way to DL of youtube you'll be fine.

I loved Spoony's reaction to learning Critic is reviewing The Door, rather than Highlander 2.

No one screams like a girl like that man. :p

Eh, I've seen Flinstones. It's bad, but the acting isn't as amazing as 'The Room's acting.

Like I said, it was just a thought But I still stand by what I said here.
I seriously think Mr Wiseau took legal action to have it taken down.

:hehe:

"YOU'RE TEARING ME APART LISA!"

"Fawk you beach"

God, that's an amazing movie. 1T R B3T3R DAN DA DAWK KNITE!!!1!!!"

I never really thought about it. But he was technically violating a lot of copyright laws.

So if The Room was taken down because of that. Then that means the eye of hollywood is now upon him. He could be in some real deep sh**. Especially with how he crapped on those moves. He won't be getting any kind of sympathy from the people who made those movies.

I'm surprised it's taken this long. Back when he was on Youtube, his videos were getting removed every other week for copyright violation. I guess most film companies just aren't that familiar with blip.tv yet.

The thing it, it should all be protected under Fair Use. He left Youtube because they didn't have the balls to stand up to the big dogs and stand behind fair use protections. If this was the reason The Room was taken down, then I'm hoping they only did it as a stop gap as they prepare some kind of legal defense.

I think he crossed the line of fair use when he started making money by way of his reviews. If he really is only allowing the ability to download videos when making a donation. Then he is making money off of copy written material.

I keep my adblock on, so I don't know if he has ads added to his videos. If he does, then blip.tv is paying him for his viewership, and he's making even more money.

all blip tv has ads, i think the ads, pay for blip tv who give him so much.

the wacko from the room has a new film out soon so it could just be him stopping any badpress

Making a profit does not automatically disqualify something as being Fair Use. The rules make it more difficult, but not impossible. Especially when it comes to satire or parody.

Well even if Wiseau did try to block the videos, I doubt that Hollywood as a whole would come knocking. Not only because they're protected under fair use but because if Wiseau films did block them (the most likely cause) it would only be Wiseau films - Tommy is hardly a Hollywood power player, so the bigger studios would be left alone.

And am I still allowed to plug my videos? I don't know at what point it would start to get rude. (this one is relatively tame, btw)

You should put a link in your sig and update it for every new one.

A new episode of Brows Held High? I should finish my cereal before I watch, lest I start to associate the milk with something else.
