Hey Kane, how much money do you get per view from Blip TV?

Really not much. I've had around 6000 views total over the past 4 months that I've been doing this and I've only made 25 bucks. This sort of thing doesn't become profitable unless you have 6000+ views daily, which the kind of traffic the less popular members of TGWTG get.

You know Lupa? :atp::awesome:

Eh, sort of. We talked once over Skype. We were in a chat with a bunch of other aspiring TGWTG-ers, she had gotten wind that I had plans to do Gerry (a review which she inspired, in part) and basically called me a nutcase :awesome:

The later I emailed her about a brief little cameo and she gladly helped me take the piss out of the movie. She's a sweetheart - she still keeps in touch with her forum friends and she's really supportive of up-and-coming reviewers. She actually has a thread in her sub-forum listing reviewers that she recommends She was nice enough to add me to the list a couple weeks ago

Have you ever thought about putting up some stuff on Youtube? It might help a little bit. Maybe.

Only reason I'm asking is that I myself have a long standing video related dream that I'd like to make a reality (not a review show, though, I don't have any real ideas to do that and make it unique from the restO, and I want to know all the facts beforehand.

Do you get paid for any video? Or does it have to be reviews? Because I want to start a web-series narrative show someday.

Blip TV, what Kane and most of the TGWTG people use to host their videos, pays from ads at the beginning and end of viseos (and potentially the option of commercial breaks ala Hulu, but that's still being tested right now). The content doesn't effect how much money you get (as long as it doesn't violent Blip's terms of service), just the number of viewers.

Actually, I did try putting some of my earlier stuff on Youtube. But it was too much of a hassle, I didn't get a lot of traffic and frankly it may not be necessary. 6000 in four months apparently isn't bad.

Well. Congratulations then.

Linkara put up a new History of Power Rangers. It's Wild Force

Linkara seriously has made me appreciate all of the Power Ranger seasons, which is why a lot of the time when I see some reboot story ideas on here, I don't see why they don't just use the same stories but treat it with some quality in the technical aspect.

I'd love to see Linkara and Obscurus Lupa join forces and review the Dolph Lundgren Punisher movie from 1989

I never knew all that behind the scenes stuff in regards to "Forever Red". I always felt the way it ended was crap and now I know why. I figured they just had Cole finish off Serpentara to make the current team seem more impressive.

JLA: The New Frontier

7/10

DC rarely disappoints.

does anyone else still watch kickassia ?

"say critic....do you get alot of P**** in that outfit"
"OF COURSE!!!!!!!!"

I watched Kickassia the other night. It's brilliant. I still laugh so hard when Linkara says "for instance, I'm not really infront of you" when being interviewed. It's just so damn random.

And "SPIDERS!! A LEGION OF SPIDERS!!!" is the best part by miles.

"What couldn't we do with an acre of land?!"

"...whoa"

In other news, 8 Bit Mickey got evicted from The Tester season 2. :csad: Now there is almost no reason to watch it.

I hate reality shows so much that I couldn't even watch their second behind the scenes vid Especially after having him describe how fake all the 'reality' was. I might check the third one out just to see Mickey's response.

"One, two, skip a few...FIFTY!"

Loved the last NC review. That movie looked horrible! 0.o
