Agreed, I think the reason they've held off is partly to build up some mystique and partly because Reigns is still green.

Which leads me to think Reigns will take on an enforcer type role until they think he's ready.

Definitely, everything about him is a marked improvement from the guy I watched wrestle a 25 finishers 45 minute match with Davey Richards.

Hahaha, that was the one thing about him that irked me. He had to hit every finisher in his arsenal.

It would be criminal, all 3 guys came off well in that segment but Ambrose just stands out with the way he delivers his promos.

Ambrose has a manic and intensity in his promos. And the way he uses his eyes too helps.

The Shield is the best faction WWE has had in 11 years. I'm so invested in these guys after watching them in developmental for so long.

Add the indies on top of that, Antman. Been following some of these guys for a long, long time.

Multiple times! you could see he was a great athlete with talent but he was indierific. To me him and Richards were back steps from what Punk and Joe brought to indie wrestling with their classic 3 match series.

I know labeling guys is at times detrimental, but it's hard not to see the mix of Roddy Piper's intensity mixed Jake Roberts twisted psychology.

I think a lot of what had to do with it was the way he was booked and give a bit more leverage and free reigns than most of the heels today have. Plus the fact that he knew how to work the crowd and made you want to hate him, while at the same time you had to appreciate the work he was doing.

He seemed a real credible threat to the good guys, plus you always believed he had as good a chance as the good guys did of winning.
