So the EC match will be where the meltdown of Team Hell No hits the boiling point.

I think a lot of what had to do with it was the way he was booked and give a bit more leverage and free reigns than most of the heels today have. Plus the fact that he knew how to work the crowd and made you want to hate him, while at the same time you had to appreciate the work he was doing.

He seemed a real credible threat to the good guys, plus you always believed he had as good a chance as the good guys did of winning.

It was fun watching him climb to the top, going after the title and doing evil things along the way. Willingly making himself a target.
