The 20 Most Ridiculous Batman Comics Ever Released

Cracked? that's that cheesy Mad magazine ripoff, nothing they do is funny, and neither is this.

Meh, most of them are from the campy era of the Batman comics, so of course they're going to be ridiculous.

Had to laugh at the one of Batman and Robin laughing at the Penguin being electrocuted on overhead power lines.

Just looking at covers shouldn't count. And not including anything from Bob Haney's The Brave and the Bold run is an epic fail.

Mind you, I find Bob Haney's run pure fun, but you'd think terrorists threatening to shoot Jim Aparo or Atom bouncing around the brain of an electrocuted Batman would make the list.

Eh...they were funny, but these were from the old days so of course they're going to be ridiculous. It would've been nice to see some issues that aren't older than me.

I would have appreciated a little more explanation into the actual stories themselves, as opposed to the editor's unoriginal, repetitive d**k and w***e jokes.

Pretty funny, but it's the same thing Superdickery.com has been doing, and doing better, for years.

Also, anyone who wants to know what's in the issue is missing the point, as putting any sort of context on these makes it no longer funny. Sure, we all know that "*****" used to mean "mistake" but god damn it, it's just funnier pretending that Batman and the Joker had an entire rivalry about who could make the most guys hard/who had the bigger penis. Same goes for these. Sure, there's probably an explanation beyond "Robin gets killed quite a bit," to that "Many Deaths of Robin!" cover, but it's just funnier if you think of it as Bruce being incredibly negligent, and a Jason Todd refference. Explaining the issue would kill the comedy.

It's funny. Everyone should be able to admit that for years comic books, especially Batman, were riddled with camp. There's nothing wrong with it it's funny to take things out of context and laugh at them.

THAT IS NOT CAMP!!!!

Because everything is about you, Robin.
