This round I'll go with:

(5) San Jose vs. (8) Edmonton - San Jose in 6
(6) Anaheim vs. (7) Colorado - Colorado in 6

(1) Ottawa vs. (4) Buffalo - Ottawa in 5
(2) Carolina vs. (3) New Jersey - New Jersey in 6

Woohooo! A perfect round! All my picks got whooped. :down:mad:

This year's playoffs prove that having their players go to the Olympics was a huge mistake on the NHL's part.

How many good veteran teams were left crippled or at a disadvantage? Who is left to win the cup this year now and who will actually watch?!? :o

Next round:

Anaheim vs Edmonton - Ducks in 5
Buffalo vs Carolina - Buffalo in 6

BTW if the Ducks win the cup, I'm burning all my NHL souvenirs. No joke.

Ducks Vs Oilers ____ Ducks in 6 :(

Carolina vs Buffalo____ Canes in 6 :down

I don't want either of those teams I picked to win, but life sucks.

The Candy Canes vs the Mighty Ducks

ickkkkk

Yay for Edmonton! Canadas only hope. Who wouldn't thunk?

I think it's just a fact that Sharks can't swim in Alberta.

we got out played and out coached...go sharks...next year

Anaheim - Edmonton 4-2
Carolina - Buffalo 3-4

:)

I'm going to predict another 6 game series with Edmonton coming out on top.

Somebody must believe in them and that person must be me.

Similarly to how Oiler fans felt 2 years ago when my Flames came to within one win away from Lord Stanley's Cup, I feel the same way now

Damn that was good times

My predictions now

Buffalo in 5 games
Edmonton in 6 games (I hope )

San Jose fan's must really hate Alberta lol. The Flames knocked San Jose out in 04 and now the Oilers did it :p

The Ducks had better win next game if they have any hope, because game 3 and 4 will be played on Oiler's ice. Oilers have the best ice in the league and they know how to play on it.

I agree. If Edmonton wins the next game, I think they'll take the series in 4, max 5 games.

Oilers up 2-0. Wow. And it might be pretty hard for the Ducks to win at Edmonton.....

Can't believe how sickenly solid Roloson's been

I hope the Ducks win at least one game. It's not good for Hockey if Oilers sweep the series.

I don't want the Ducks to win the series or anything, but I do want them to look like they had a fighting chance.

It might be pretty hard for the Ducks what with the crowd at Rexall and momentum going for the Oilers.

But hey, you never know. Bergeron, Torres, and Smith coming down with the flu kind of scares me a bit....

Nahhhh

Screw Niedermayer :down

Go Oil

Go Oilers! If they can win the first two games away from home, Anaheim doesn't stand a chance in Edmonton. It might be good for Anaheim to win one game though...so that the Flames doesn't look so bad compared to the Oilers :p

I saw Colin Campbell in the stands so I'm guessing Gary Bettman won't be in Oiltown to award the Clarence Campbell Bowl to the Oilers and recieve all those boos.

Actually most Edmontonians would cheer Bettman, because he actually saved the NHL from collapsing under its own weight of incompetence. The teams that are currently vying for a Stanley cup berth weren't in the playoffs last year.

That third period damn near gave me a heart attack.

Keep in mind that the Oilers weren't playing their best because half the team was sick.

Do you know why the Oilers did so well against Anaheim and San Jose?

Sharks and Ducks don't swim well in an oil slick.

But still, after being up 4-0 five (or so) minutes into the third. Then to have the Ducks almost catch up twice. I swear, it almost killed me....:(
