But still, after being up 4-0 five (or so) minutes into the third. Then to have the Ducks almost catch up twice. I swear, it almost killed me....

You can do all the right things and things still don't go your own way.

A few years ago, during the playoffs, Dallas was up 4-0 over the Oilers with just 2 or 3 minutes left in the game and half the Colliseum had left.

Within those 2 or 3 minutes, the Oilers scored 4 quick goals and went on to win in overtime 5-4.

I think I remember that one. I think I shut off the tv after that and quickly regretted when they caught up. I think that was the year they upset Dallas....


But I'm not complaining. Oilers won the game and they're up 3-0. So it's all good

(I see plenty of sports spirit around New England, but I can't recall seeing any flags. What's with the flags? Get stickers like the rest of the world.)

I have no idea why the flags started to be honest. I don't even recall the flags being around the last time the Oilers were in the playoffs (that could have a lot to do with my horrible memory though). But even I'm getting annoyed with some of them. Especially those enormous ones. Seriously, is that really necessary?

I saw the flags being sold at the convenience store one day, and then the week after everyone had them. You're all very strange people. I think if it wasn't for the flags, and the living where I hear everyone celebrating after a win, I'd be rooting for the Oilers over anaheim. As it is, I can't decide who annoys me more.

Yeah, I guess if I lived where you did, I would also hate the incessant honking and cheering after each Oilers victory.

Yeah, LRT's not bad. But it's very limited. And it's going to take them forever to expand

I've heard about the riots at Whyte. I've thought about checking them out, but I kind of don't want to die in Canada.

I agree that the flags are annoying. E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E in Calgary had them in 2004. It especially pisses me off when people keep them on their car even after the team has been elminated! Whats the deal?! The team is out, lose the damn flag already lol

On a side note...GO EDMONTON IN GAME 4!!
