I'll do my tv predictions later.

I would be surprised if Carey Mulligan didn't win Best Actress-Drama

I like this year. I dont see any huge snubs besides Psych (which isnt out of the ordinary) also would have liked Shallob (sp?) to get nominated for his last turn as Monk. Also I'm surprised Nine is getting alot of nods when reviews have been below average

I'll do all of my predictions later

LOST always gets snubbed nowadays. It better get nominated for its final season!

And am I the only one who thinks the supporting actor categories for TV are ridiculous? They pit drama, comedy, and mini-series/made for tv movies together in one category..

Yeah. I mean I loved Lithgow in Dexter and Piven in Entourage but their two real different performances that I dont think belong in the same category

There are a few snubs in my eyes. I think if Avatar is up there District 9 was a worthy contender for best picture.

And, the two things I was hoping for was Sam Rockwell nominated for Moon. And Best Picture as well.

They were worthy of nomination too. But oh well I guess.

I can't believe that freaking "Cinema Italiano" song got nominated...

Tobey Maguire over Mortensen and Renner? Wow, just wow.

No Sons of Anarchy on this list? F that... GG can lick my cherry chungas...

as of right now I agree with Laderlappen's predictions. I have to think Carey Mulligan is still the one to beat even though they seemed to have liked her movie less than people were expecting.

The Globes love star power, which is why you see nominations for people like Tobey Maguire and Julia Roberts who have no real chance of scoring with SAG or Oscar. They even made sure the big names from Invictus would be there but didn't want to go all out and nominate the movie, which is a little funny and oh so like them.

No Star Trek on the list? :cmad: What a snub!

to be honest, the Golden Globes have always been weird with their selection. FOr example, "It's Complicated" is getting too much love here for a movie that looks..so-so.

no love for Zoey Deschanel? :(

yeah, I thought she'd get in. They just had to nominate Julia Roberts though. That was my worst category in my predictions, I also had Amy Adams instead of a second Sandra Bullock nomination. I did pretty well everywhere else.

Did you really think Star Trek was going to get any serious awards consideration?

You laugh at that notion but then again, I wouldn't think that The Proposal would get the noms it got..

True, but people have always had a ***** for Sandra Bullock for some reason. And besides, the Golden Globes usually use the "Musical or Comedy" category to nominate some truly bewildering movies/performances.

Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts...I swear it's just the name, not the performance.

These awards really are the movie equivalent to the French Open, nobody cares. I also hate it how every year the media give these awards more credit than they deserve. Yawn.

Star Trek was grouped as a Drama, it didn't have much of a chance.

Star Trek is not going to get a look in. Never was since Avatar came into play, it's already filled the sci-fi/blockbuster quota for all awards this season.
